This was our second trip to Manchester, previously stayed at the local 'Travelodge' which didn't impress very much we decided on 'Park Inn'.

Everything about this hotel was spotless, clean and the service was great. This is a new hotel and you can tell as soon as you enter. The rooms were nice and comfy, the shower room was clean and in good condition. Slept well as the beds were very comfy, the room was warm enough.

There is parking at the back of the hotel, which is pretty handy as we were previously parked opposite the hotel for cost. Didn't realise we could park at the back.

Only downfall was the price of breakfast, pretty steep.

Would def stay at this hotel again next time!

We booked this hotel as we were going to see Shakira at the MEN. We arrived just after 2pm. checkin was speedy and the gentleman on reception was very welcoming. got up to the room which was on the first floor. our room was overlooking the main road but the windows were so thick we never heard any traffic noise at all which was brilliant. We used the swimming pool which is up to spa quality and fantastic. we ate at the restaurant which was not expensive at all and the food was served quickly and not cheap frozen like some hotel restaurants. we will definetly stay here again. i would definetly recommend this hotel over the hilton..STAY HERE DONT GO TO THE HILTON !!!!!

I stayed here for 2 nights in December 2010 because we were going to see a gig at the MEN arena. It is in a great location from the arena being only a 2 minute walk and is in a good location for the town centre being about a 15 minute walk or 5 minutes in a taxi.

The rooms where nice and comfortable and a nice size. The only thing I didn't like about the room is that it smelt of smoke when we arrived. Even though our room was next to the main road, we couldn't hear anything in the night.

Room service, and check in was good however the service in the bar downstairs took a long time!

All in all it is a good hotel for visits to the MEN and the city centre.

I stayed at this hotel when I went to see a gig at the Manchester Arena. The location is absolutely superb for the arena being just behind the arena. It is also a short walk into the centre of Manchester.

I booked through hotelopia rather than through the hotel directly which made the hotel relatively reasonable in price. However, if I had booked directly through the hotel I thought the prices were very expensive for Manchester.

Check in was quick and the receptionist very efficient, although not the friendliest I have experienced.

However, when we went up to our room, the whole corridor stank of cigarette smoke. This was really off putting. There were also boxes of empty beer boxes and empty pint glasses around the corridor that points to this hotel being a favourite with stag weekends.

The room was clean and had good facilities. Although the pillows were very worn and thin and there was only 1 pillow each which was dissapointing.

We had breakfast in the hotel, the food was good with a good choice. However, it was let down by being very disorganised. When we arrived we were told we needed to pay for breakfast even though we were on a B&B rate (confirmed at check in). Also, no one came and asked for our coffee order, we had to ask a few times. We were fairly late for breakfast meaning the restaurant was fairly quiet, however I can imagine at busy times it could be a total nightmare as it is small for the size of the hotel.

All in all, good for a gig at the arena, but it can be expensive if you don't get a good deal. Thre are far better hotels in Mancheter - Hilton Deansgate and Radisson Edwardian are both fantastic.

Booking in took a while but eventually got our room allocated, only to open the bedroom door & to find another couple in our room!! reception had double booked the room, luckily in our favour. We then went for food in the restaraunt only to have to wait nearly 2hrs for the main meal, making us late and unable to get changed for our concert, When we got back we requested extra pillows and called again once in our room after 30mins, after 1hr at 12.30pm reception called our room to say there were no more pillows in the hotel ! also to top it all the termostat in the room was broken so i ended up with my coat over me all night !!

I liked my room but did not know my bathroom would be for a disabled person as I had no bath , I was looking forward to a nice long bath after traverling on train and shopping .
The room was very clean . The staff are very well dressed , friendly ,eager to help you .
I was dissapointed in the grill thought it would be better furnished , felt like a cheap cafe.
The breakfast was very good but very COLD , this was ashame when chef cooked such nice food!

Went to the a-ha concert and couldn't have found anywhere closer to the MEN Arena. Clean, simple room, well decorated. Service was OK. Bit of noise from, I think, air conditioning. Food was well above standard - had intended to eat in town but were too late. Most of us had the burgers, just expecting basic fast food but had an excellent meal. Breakfast was a good full English too even though they were really busy.
