“Fab location”

This hotel is in a great location just minutes walk from the palace theatre. Also great location for the shops. We stayed in 504 which is the biggest room they have. There is a living/kitchen area, a fantastic large bedroom with a 4 poster bed and then a spiral staircase leading to a twin room.
The apartment is very clean however we did find that the top level bedroom got very hot ( they provide a fan) also when in bed you could hear very word from the downstairs bedroom. The hotel is going through a refurb and adding 11 more rooms. Although we did not hear any noise or face any trouble upon walking in it was messy, I would like to have been advised in advance that this was happening. It would not have stopped us from staying there it would of just been nice to have been prepared. Would I stay again? Yes definitely x

Just got back after spending Friday and Saturday at Roomzz, We were in room 104. It is a very good location, 10/15 walk from the train station and 5/10 into town. The room itself is very nice, the apple mac was a nice touch in the room, the double shower was also very lovely.

However come sunday morning even the lovely shower couldn't improve my mood as for two nights I had not slept a wink. Room 104 is literally level with head height to Princess street so you could hear all the screaming and shouting all night, not only that but with it being town centre police cars and ambulances also kept you awake. I am aware it is not Roomzz fault that people are out having a good time, however the noise inside the hotel was just as bad. The air conditioner was super loud, and normally I like the sound of an air conditioner but it clinked and clanked, suddenly went super loud then quiet, then off then on again, not only that having to contend with people walking around upstairs on the wooden floor - I was exhausted by the end of my stay and if I had travelled down by car I would have left at 2/3am when I was at breaking point.

I have stayed in cities many times, Liverpool, Birmingham, London and never has it ever been this bad. I would say to all the postive reviews have most likely been put in a room at the back however reading other reviews the negative ones do seem to come from these front rooms. My advice to Roomzz you need to upgrade your soundproofing (And yes I have read from management that you have recently done so... It doesn't work!) failure to do this - Don't put people in these front rooms.

Room Tip: Not the front rooms - facing the street.

We spent a Saturday and Sunday night at Roomzzz, in a luxury studio. It was well kitted out and had big windows and a comfy bed. Wifi worked well and there was plenty of space. Nice bathroom. It's right in the centre of the city so really convenient for all the action. However, not too noisy.

Room Tip: We had 407 (double fronted 4th floor) and was v nice room.

Just had a 1 night stay at roomzz and throughly enjoyed it, reception staff friendly, really modern trendy place.
Stayed in a liberty suite on the 3rd floor and it was lovely, clean, comfy beds and all the amentities that you need like kettle, toaster, fridge, dishwasher, imac computer that my husband loved!!
The location was really great, central to the train station, shops, restaurant and bars,
Overall we had a excellent stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

First time in a roomzz and will not be the last. We opted for a audio with a mezzanine.

Facilities are good with fridge and microwave, hob, toaster and kettle. Car park next door and located in chinatown.

A nice alternative to mainstream hotels

we stayed wed and thurs in november on arrival at 13.30 our apartment was ready for us, we had booked a liberty suite on 5th floor but it wasn't to our taste and asked for a change or room and to their credit we were offered a maxima (room 405) which had big corner windows and views towards china town which we loved, the staff were very pleasant and the grab and go breakfast was ideal, THANKS ROOMZZ Manchester we'll be back!

Room Tip: corner suite views to city and chinatown

We stayed for 2 nights over the weekend in November. What a gorgeous place to stay! The welcome was warm and friendly and we were booked into our suite in no time. We stayed in the Maxima Suite on the 5th floor and it was lovely. Great bathroom with spacious, large headed shower and huge bath big enough for two with added TV! I would have preferred the shower to be a little hotter and more powerful however we were on the 5th floor of the hotel so water pressure was possibly affected, but it was perfectly acceptable. The bath was great and the TV an added bonus.
The kitchen area was good with large fridge, plenty of storage and a microwave/ micro oven. There was a kettle and plenty of tea and coffee. A dishwasher was also provided.
The living space was great with a small table for eating and two large settees. There was a large TV in this space and an apple mac computer which we used for watching things on 4od while recovering from a hangover! The wardrobe was also downstairs with an extra quilt for the sofa bed. We had to take the quilt out as the door wouldnt shut properly with it in the wardrobe and there was an automatic light that was on constantly!! There was a lovely spiral staircase to the bedroom complete with separate toilet and sink, brilliant so you didnt have to keep going up and down the stairs to use the bathroom.
The bed was divine, so huge and comfortable, we slept really well. There was also nice lighting including in the floor.
We did hear some noise on Saturday morning- there was some sort of construction work going on which woke us up early and on Saturday night there was a very loud party going on but it wasnt really a major issue and you expect noise in a City Centre hotel. It wouldnt put me off staying again.
The only fault I had was that the lights in the living area all had to be on at the same time meaning we couldnt make it cozy! It would have been nice to switch the larger sport light strip off to keep the side lights only on. There are a lot of switches so maybe there was a way to do this we didnt figure out!
I cant comment on the breakfast as due to dietary issues i could not partake but there seems to be fresh fruit, pastries and croissants etc.
All in all a lovely, lovely place to stay in Manchester. Worth the price we paid for the room and we will definitely be back when staying in Manchester next.
