Stayed two nights. This is the newer of the pair of hotels which are basically on the same site opposite each other. The positives: good sized room, nice bed, well maintained, nice staff, coffee bar and restaurant in the lobby. The negatives: the shuttle to the airport only runs 4am to 10am, there is no guest laundry (surely a must for a hotel catering mainly to travellers), and no fridge in the room. The free 30 minutes of wifi was a bit of a con, as the connections were really slow and about half the time is wasted waiting for a connection. However if you're just wanting to stop over before a flight this is a very nice place to stay. I tried walking over to the airport - it's about 30-40 minutes (further than it looks). Taxis are around £6.50. Very reasonably priced if you book early. Didn't try the restaurant or breakfast. Given the price of food at the airport, the breakfast for around £8 isn't too bad a deal!

Room Tip: Rooms are pretty quiet but ask for one away from the main road side.

Stayed here for 1 night on 9th July. Got to the hotel 1/2 hr early but was still able to check in via the receptionist. Staff very helpful throughout our short stay. Room was the usual clean, tidy & good sized. A/C was good and quiet!! Good range of tv channels, good sized & clean bathroom & very comfy beds! Would def stay again!!

Stayed here for one night on 11th July. Used fast check in and was in room within minutes. Room clean, bathroom spotless and very comfy bed. Checked out at 3am and receptionist was busy dealing with someone. She immediately called a colleague from the back room to check me out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We find it a perfect start to our holiday.

Stayed here for one night before our flight to Spain. As soon as we entered the hotel staff were all very helpful and cheery. The reception area was clean, bright and very welcoming. The receptionist gave us option for dinner and we chose the 22.00 meal deal. This is a 3 course dinner with a drink and an all you can eat buffet breakfast. It sounds a lot but we found the food to be lovely and for what you get it's worth it, great value for money in my opinion.

The staff in the restaurant were great, I think our servers were Jonathan and Vishna, both very helpful and polite. Also Amy who seemed to be constantly busy but found the time to rescue my three year old who managed to get herself locked in the toilet! Maybe suggest getting child safe locks on the doors to make it easier to open from the outside.

Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Beds were great as were the pillows.

We have stayed here a few times before and we will be back in November, never been disappointed yet. Had the misfortune of staying at the adjacent Travelodge last night for the first and last time, awful experience - they could learn a lot from this hotel.

Stayed here July 3rd before our flight next morning to Orlando.
Very easy to find and plenty of parking.
First impression from outside very good.
Reception mordern clean and tidy.
They have a check yourself system in, but it didnt seem to be working , but we were checked in and given our room.
Room what you would expect modern clean tidy and plenty of tv channels.
So far so good
Went downstairs to the restaurant at 7.55 pm to be told no tables untill 8.30 , so ok we had a drink in the bar .
Now why net tell you at check in that the restaurant is busy so you could book a table.
So 8.30 comes and we go to the restaurant to be told still no tables ,told us to take a seat in the bar again and she will come and get us.
8. 45 comes go back again to be told still no tables , now by this time i am about ready to go but my wife and son were famished so we wait.
8.55 a table at last HFL.
We order our food 30 mins later it comes.
My wife ordered a pasta dish with blue cheese , it came no blue cheese on it they tried to convince her it had .err no it hasnt .so they comped it.
All in all i would stop there again but just take some food to eat in the room

stayed here for one night previous to our holiday flight. what you would expect from a premier inn, very clean, extremely comfortable rooms. check in was using the check in machines (although there was check in staff available)which was really easy where we also opted for 24hrs of wifi. parking was £5 for 24 hours if i remember correctly.
stayed on 4th floor, very quiet room no noise from airport, was cold when we went in but put the heat on and it soon warmed up.
bathroom was very clean, coffee and tea facilities and hair dryer.

we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, breakfast was very good everything you would expect and want, dinner was good, reasonably priced but the service was a bit slow.

a great comfortable hotel for stopover to airport.

I had booked this reluctantly after figuring out that Manchester hotel prices are ridiculously high. We were passing through on our way from Stonehenge to Scotland and needed somewhere to rest our heads before a quick tour of Old Trafford the next day. With 2 young children I needed somewhere really clean and relatively new. This Premier Inn definitely is. There is an older Premier Inn just slightly behind this building at the other side of the parking lot with this particular one being the newest. Whilst it is close to the airport docking slots for the planes, none of us heard a single plane noise from checking in through leaving. We stayed on the 6th floor with a view over the airport for our little guys, which made child care very easy with all the peeking through the curtains to see the action! As mentioned though, not a sound from the airport. The room (as with all Premier Inns) was basic but modern and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also. I had one of the best nights' sleep in a long time on the mattress and I wish I could have found out the brand and model before we left.
Were there any negatives? Just minor niggles: The bathroom has soap/shower stuff in a hand dispenser attached to the wall of the shower and the toilet paper wasn't a roll, but pull out pieces - which made me feel that I was in the changing room of my local YMCA swimming pool rather than an hotel - but for the price we paid - really it was no big deal. I suppose the price trade-off is the niceties of the posher brands, but I'd rather have the cheap price and clean bed if on the road.
Breakfast was a decent price and a good selection for all four of us, including some organic yoghurts and plenty of fruit plus the usual bacon and eggs, toast and pastries. I'm not sure we'd eat in the restaurant other than for breakfast as it is definitely not an evening meal and cocktails sort of place (!!) but it worked for us!
Check in we did at a machine in the reception area, though there were reception staff on duty if we needed them. All in all, we could not fault this particular Premier Inn for value for money and would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: 6th Floor away from the parking lot (i.e. towards the airport) was a great situation for us.
