Find it Jct 6 off the M56 very easy to find. Calm and quick check in, room spotless and bed just as Lenny Henry says big and comfortable. Bathroom with shower . Wifi available. Bar.

Costa Coffee shop has good selection of eats hot or cold.

3 Minutes from the Jetparks !&2 so easy. Park the car and get the bus which runs every 15 minutes to the airport.

Having been impressed by recent stays at other Premier Inns we decided to use their hotel at Manchester Airport because of an overnight layover. It is certainly convenient for the airport: just a few minutes by shuttle or taxi from the terminals.

While the room was consistent in quality with other Premier Inns we were rather disappointed with the service. A few issues:

[1] When we checked in we asked about connections to the airport in the morning. We were told that there were shuttle buses every half hour or that they could arrange a taxi service for the same price. We agreed to a taxi, but when we came down the following morning there was no record of it. Fortunately, there were seats available on the shuttle bus which was about to depart, so we did not miss our flight.

[2a] There was no space in the restaurant when we turned up, but we agreed to wait for 45 minutes in the bar. When we came back to the restaurant there was no record of our booking, but they were able to offer us a table at that point anyway.

[2b] We note from another review that it would have been possible to eat in the bar, which would have been better for us given how late the available restaurant slot was. We'd suggest that this is offered by default when there is no space in the restaurant. We accept that we should have noticed this possibility ourselves or asked for other options at the restaurant, but we were rather tired after our trip.

[2c] The serving staff seemed either overworked or at least inattentive: we were left for over 20 minutes before our order was taken and it took another 30 minutes for our dishes to arrive. There wasn't a big gap, but our meals were served a few minutes apart: we'd expect both meals to be brought together.

We're generally big fans of Premier Inn, so don't take pleasure in writing such a negative review. Hopefully the issues can be rectified.

Clean, comfortable & good value family room perfectly located for catching flights for Manchester Airport. Parking cost £8 for overnight stay which is a bit high but part of the course. We used the airport Meet & greet parking system which was so easy & convenient. Well worth the small extra cost.

Stayed here prior to our flight. Staff very friendly. Our Family room for 3 was large with 2 double beds, which were extremely comfy. Great value for money. Ate in the restaurant and where the food was good, we felt it was a bit overpriced. Staff were all very friendly.
Would definately stay again.

We stayed here after our flight over night before traveling back to Scotland the next day. We didn't arrive until the early hours, the reception staff were very fast with checking us in.. When we got to our room ( at the front) it was spotlessly clean beds bathroom the lot.. We had breakfast in the morning which was of a great choice and plenty . We could not fault this hotel one bit. Will gladly stay here again .. Thanks to all the staff..

Room Tip: Ask for room at the front, mind you if your that tired you won't here a thing.

We stayed her the night before our flight a few years ago.
Location is near the Freight Terminal. We were facing on to the airport but it was very quiet.
Room was comfortable and clean. There was 3 of us sharing but still plenty of room, even with all our luggage. 3rd bed was a sofa bed which my mum said was very comfortable.
We had an evening meal and breakfast. Drinks were reasonable and food quality was good. I have stayed at the Radisson on Terminal 2 and the food was just as good.
Shuttle transfers had to be paid for, think it was £6. My only down side was that we had booked parking but could only park the car at the actual hotel overnight so had to drive to near Wilmslow to park which was a bit of a pain but that was just the package I had booked.

Top tip, try and book hotel with 'ON SITE PARKING', it makes life a lot easier.

Had an overnight at the P.I. North before flying out on holiday. We chose the PI as it was a much cheaper alternative to the Radisson Blu we used several times in the past, so we thought we'd give it a try. Must say we were not disappointed.

Whilst not as grand as the Radisson, the hotels location is good, it is well priced, the rooms were nice, well maintained and comfy. We were unfortunately woken at 03:30 with screaming children and a noisy family in the corridor (not the hotels fault with their Good Night Guarantee, but VERY irritating none the less).

The only real disappointment were the staff. The check-in staff were sullen, and when we could not eat in the hotel, as the restaurant was booked, the unhelpful staff at the restaurant were not quick or keen to offer any advice on alternatives. (For example, they failed to point out the same menu was available had we chosen to sit in the half empty bar.) We eventually went across the road to the Premier Inn. South, and the staff were fantastic: helpful, funny and falling over themselves to accommodate us.

Would likely use the Premier Inn again, but I'd book South, as the building looks older, but the staff were all friendlier.
