Very good hotel for airport users. Loads of parking. Very modern looking. Clean. Smart. Staff throughout were very friendly and helpful in resolving queries. Is located close the the freight part of airport, and as a consequence there was no perceivable airport noise at night. An easy five minute drive to the terminals and airport parking, so a winner on all accounts. Family room sleeping 4 was £74, so pretty good value in my book. Food and service was good in the restaurant.

Tip:

They had an offer on in the bar. Two for price of one. It's not applicable in the restaurant if you order your drinks at the table. So check first, as you can take your drinks from the bar through to the restaurant.

Stayed here again in July before our flight to Egypt. As usual the room was clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. I don't like having to pay for parking and wifi, but I guess you can't grumble when the rooms are so cheap. I think parking was £5 and wifi £3, both for 24 hours.

We had a few drinks in the bar (it was 2 for 1 so it would have been rude not to) whilst we waited for a table in the restaurant. I would recommend you book in advance if you are working to a specific timescale.

Food was fine, although it was a bit frustrating that they appeared to have run out of a few of the items on the menu. It's typical pub grub really. Service was friendly but a bit slow...but then again there isn't many staff.

Had breakfast too which I always look forward to here...it was good and I think it value for money when you have kids (they eat free).

All in all, another good stay and we will be staying here again in a few months time.

We stayed here the night before we flew out to Mexico, & as previous stays it was excellent! /the staff are so accommodating & nothing is too much trouble! We booked the meal deal for two [this included evening meal & breakfast in the morning], this was in our opinion excellent value for money & we will definitely do that next time we stay here! The room as always was extremely comfortable, surprising really we both had a excellent night of sleep! We will most definitely stay here again, in fact this must be our fourth or fifth stay!!!

After spending three weeks visiting family in the Uk, we stayed here before our morning flight to Canada. Check-in was a little chaotic but it was the first Sunday of English school holidays so can't complain. Staff very helpful. Had prebooked dinner at hotel restaurant for when it opened as family member who had driven us had to return home. Good food but they'd run out of pizza dough and salmon steaks by 5.30! Hotel was very quiet during night time. Our room overlooked the airport runway but we didn't hear a thing. Lovely view of rabbits playing in field also much to kids enjoyment. Thoroughly recommend this hotel but it's cheaper to take a taxi to airport if you're a family than the hotel shuttle bus. The only reason I don't give the hotel five stars is that the wifi access was not free overnight which isn't great considering it's an airport hotel and people need to check in online, check flight delays etc.

Where possible we always try to allocate families with young children to rooms overlooking the airport, as we know it helps to keep the children entertained and makes their stay even more enjoyable. Great hotel value for money. Right next to the airport which is why we booked it. Def stay again if flying from Manchester. Food in the restaurant was great and kids had a fab time. Plenty of services their if required like airport transfer and wake up calls. Great for what you pay for.
