Drove up to Manchester from Devon to visit my daughter at uni and booked the Midland on Booking.com. Lived in Manchester as a child and the Midland was the place to stay.
Booked a twin room and expected a small twin for the price. What a lovely surprise! the room was delightful, two huge beds a dressing room and a spotless modern bathroom. Lovely snuggly towels and good toiletries. ( why was there a pile of dirty linen outside our room all night? this let it down a bit-hence not five stars)
We went out for a short while to eat but came back quickly to make the most of the luxurious room.
We used the spotless little health club the next morning, jacuzzi was the perfect temp, before a very pleasant breakfast. Plenty of time to relax as we didnt have to leave until 12.00.
I will definitely stay again and am just about to book a stay in February. Can't wait!
