Stayed here for 2 nights.

I was staying mainly on a redemption of Nectar points. I was checked in efficiently.

Excellent location and nearby parking but they will park your car for you if you pull in in the space in front of the hotel. If that is full there is one round the back too. Could even use this to drop off passengers and bags…

I had a comfortable double bed in a smallish room but there was enough storage space and a decent bathroom. I could just about work there. I used the internet it was ok

I did not take breakfast in the hotel or eat in a restaurant.

My view is as attached.

I took a friend to stay for the night and to do some retail therapy in Manchester city centre on Monday morning. From the moment we were met at reception the staff were very helpfull and curteous. They parked the car in a secure car park ready for collection the next day and we were shown to our room which was a real gem. Top quality furniture and finishing, even down to the 5 star toiletries. The food in the Wyvern Restaurant was freshly prepared and served in a contemporary way, lovely.

We loved the room that much we decided to have a room service breakfast that was served hot and on at the time we asked for. I fully recommend a stay at the Midland, we even got to meet the resident manager who took time out of his day to make us feel welcome.

Stayed on Saturday night to attend a venue we go to nearly every month, stayed in a few hotels in Manchester centre, but Midland was special, really quiet no noise in evening or late at night, not like some other hotels, there may have been groups staying but you would not know it.
Big comfortable bed and bathroom, both spotless, booked through last minute.com but will book direct in future, certainly worth the few extra pounds.
