We stayed a single night in an Ecelectic Suite (room 35) as we were visiting Greens restaurant in Didsbury. It matched up with all the other excellent comments - extremely helpful staff, beautiful old house, immaculate, superb bed, spacious, quiet, a real gem.
Our only comment is that, for that money, a few more "inclusives" would be appreciated. Whilst tea and coffee with fresh milk were available in the room, there were no biscuits. After our journey that would have been nice. And what a shame they don't include breakfast.
So, all in all, a gorgeous hotel, but felt it was expensive for what it was.More
