I gifted a night at EDP to my parents to celebrate my mothers 60th birthday. The staff could not have been more helpful and polite when booking and making arrangements for Champagne to be left in the room. They also kindly upgraded them to room 35 which was apparently stunning and brought my mother to tears of joy! My wife and I have stayed at the sister Didsbury Park Hotel and this is every bit as good but marginally better as smaller. This is the best place to stay in Manchester - look no further and book.

We visit Britain from “down-under” at least once each year and, as we have friends living in Didsbury, usually stay at either Didsbury House or here at 11 Didsbury Park at the start and end of our visits - something we have been doing for five or more years.
We return, primarily because we find the quiet, and dare I say it, refined ambience very much to our taste – but also because of the warm welcome we always receive. The management and staff are friendly and helpful and, nothing seems to be too much of a trouble to making our stays pleasurable.
We relish too both the breakfasts – again very much to our taste – and the flavoursome light dinners that we have served for us in the breakfast room.
We highly recommend 11 Didsbury Park as a welcoming haven in one of the prettiest suburbs of Manchester.

My husband and I held our daytime wedding reception at Eleven Didsbury Park on 25th May, followed by an evening reception at Didsbury House Hotel (please see separate review!). From first enquiry to the day itself, the whole experience with both hotels was incredible. The staff really do go to exceptional lengths to ensure you have the most perfect day. Extra-special thanks go to the wonderful Natalia and Dan.
We had a champagne and canapé reception followed by a sit-down BBQ for 100 in the beautiful walled garden, conservatory and Veranda Suite of Eleven, with tables beautifully arranged to our specification. The weather was gorgeous (how did that happen?!), the food was delicious and all the staff were incredibly attentive. Everyone remarked on what a wonderfully personal and relaxed setting it was - it was absolutely magical! This was followed by an AMAZING house party in Didsbury House into the small hours just a few doors down.
We literally cannot speak highly enough of both EDP and Didsbury House and urge anyone looking for a stunning wedding venue in Manchester, with incredible service, to look no further. Thank you for such a perfect start to our lives together.
Jen and David xxx

I attended a christening party at this hotel and as the hotel had been hired exclusively for the day I was fortunate enough to stay the night so we could carry on the party till late! This hotel is just amazing. There is a beautiful garden at the back which was the perfect setting for the afternoon tea laid on. My room - the bed was so comfy, there was a bath at the bottom of my bed (wow!) and the shower was invigorating and hot. Staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Quite easily, the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

Not good value for money. We upgraded to a special eclectic room expecting it to be pretty good for £132. The room looked lovely, albeit quite small. And we were given a good welcome by the staff who were all very nice. However the basic maintenance and upkeep of the hotel really let it down. The room was boiling hot, so we hardly slept as we had to keep the window and curtain open all night just to keep some air coming in. There is no air conditioning. The room was noisy as the floor boards upstairs were very creaky, so at all hours of the night and early morning there was loud creaking right above the bed. There was a sort of shabby wardrobe in the room, but no coathangers - so absolutely nowheer to hang anything except over the back of a chair. I asked for some and I was provided with two - not really enough, but all they had. The toilet door wouldn't shut - again not that much of an issue but it should shut!! Also when I was lying there in the middle of the night boiling hot and needed a drink of water to cool down, I went to run a glass of water from the tap and the water coming out of the cold tap was warm - and I left it running for a long time. In the end I drunk some warm water!! So all in all not impressed - the hotel looks nice but they are missing out on the basics and it is not worth £132

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with others.
I'm sorry to hear the hotel didn't meet with your expectations.
We take all maintenance at the hotel seriously and endeavour to fix problems as they are brought to our attention. Each room is equipped with a radiator with a temperature control, so guests can create their own comfortable environment.
I'm glad you found the bedroom lovely and received a good welcome by our team.
Best regards
