There is plenty of competition in this part of Manchester with lots of hotels close together, the townhouse isn't an obvious choice but it's definitely worth giving it a go. The bar, lounge area is very nice and welcoming and the bar staff were brilliant, even staying on late to serve all the thirsty revellers returning tired after the Stone Roses gig. Nico mentioned the information about travel to the gig that was handed out on reception with was a really nice touch. The room was excellent, lovely and clean and very comfy, though I probably could have slept on the floor after the gig!!
I'd definitely stay again should we be back this way.
