The apartment was ideal with large rooms and bathrooms. The price was balanced and the fact that was near a centric road was useful specially the first day (it was our first time there) -
It was super clean, luminous and of course, the service was awesome- the owners treated us very kindly and helped us in every way they could.
We'll totally come back and stay there more days!

Stayed here 5th-7th July with a friend in the hotel, for our friends birthday. Checked in on the Friday night, very friendly genteman on the desk. First impressions were...very noisy as its next to a busy road, but clean and spacious room. I asked whether we could have a room at the back of the hotel, and the nice gentleman checked thoroughly but couldn't do it. Both friday and saturday night my friend & I didn't get much sleep as the traffic is just so noisy. Plus we stayed on a very hot weekend, so the heat also kept us up with the added noise of having the non-double glazed windows open. However even with the windows closed I doubt the noise woiuld have been reduced by much.

Our friends stayed in the apartments next door. Wow! They were huge - clean, airy and spacious. It said it slept 4 people but it had 3 double beds and a sofa bed, so could easily sleep 6. It would have been good to know this as we wouldn't have needed to book a double room. The apartment was also a lot cooler than our hotel.

Breakfast was £5 for a full english, self service. When you walk into the dining room you're offered tea and toast which is lovely. Not rushed to get out either. It also has a little bar which has limited selection but is nice and quiet and does the job.

Overall, I wouldn't stay in this hotel again but only because it was just so noisy because of the busy main road. Maybe if we had a room at the back this would have been different. Taxi's into town only cost between £6-£8 so even if you plan to spend the weekend in the city centre, this B&B is not that far out. However there is not that much that is decent by the B&B in terms of restaurants cafes or pubs so you would have to head to the main city centre.

Room Tip: Always ask for a room at the back! We also had room 16 which was a sun trap - great when sunny but n...

I came across this hotel purely by chance as the mainstream hotels in the city centre were either fully booked up or were charging outrageous prices due to amount of things that were going on in & around Manchester city centre over the bank holiday weekend. We booked it as we went to a concert at the M.E.N arena which is 2.5 miles away. Well I'm really pleased I came across this hotel, after reading reviews on here we gave it a try, and as I said really pleased we did. The hotel staff were really pleasant & courteous & made you feel welcome. Our room (room 23) was on the top floor overlooking the main road. Even though it was facing the main road we wasn't disturbed by any traffic noise at all. The room was comfy & clean, comfortable beds & pillows, had tea / coffee making facilities, flat screen tv, a desk for putting on make up or for a PC, free wifi & an en suite bathroom (of which the shower is nice, hot & powerful). We paid for breakfast the next day, and I can assure you it was the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. There's a wide choice to choose from, from healthy cereals & yogurts to the full English (bacon, sausage, eggs fried or boiled, tomatoes, hash browns & beans). They also have a bar that the prices are reasonably cheap too. They have car parking spaces too, which are free :-).

I can't fault this place, it's a true gem & reasonably priced too. We like it so much we've stored the address, number & website in our phones as we'll definitely come back here again when we have another trip to Manchester.

Stayed here, whilst in Manchester to see a concert etc, found all the staff pleasant and polite, and for the little time we spent in the hotel it was all we needed, basic room however for the price this felt comfortable and welcoming. As placed by the road of busy traffic if you are a light sleeper this could be problematic.

£4.95 breakfast although the fry up doesnt beat a made to order one as this is buffet syle at the price you can't complain, tea/coffee and toast freshly prepared and prompt service offered.

Easy access to the metro link, good locastion which offers free parking.

Pleasant stay.
