Stayed here 1 night, very helpful & friendly staff, great central location, big rooms, nice and warm, clean, parking about 15 min walk but if hotel stamps your parking ticket you get money off parking. Only downside was that big window in our room was a bad fitting and big draught coming through, no double glazing.
Upside, A nice full Breakfast was included in the price, which only worked out to £22 each for one night, which was great for a Saturday night stay in the middle of Manchester.Bargain!

Good Morning and thanks for providing some feedback following your recent stay. Sorry that you had a problem with the window, we will try and find our what room and sort this out. The special offer that we have with the car park is great as city centre parking can be pricey at times. You mentioned the breakfast was good, this will be passed on to the chef. if you book via our own website you will always get breakfast included.

Perfect location, good rooms, very good breakfast, very reasonable prices!
Clean and quiet room, good and clean bathroom.
I stopped at this hotel for the fifth time and will definitely stop in the future too!

Apart from managing to get lost three times looking for the hotel I had a very pleasant stay with them. I was only visiting overnight (for work) however, being central meant I was able to see the sites in the little spare time I had.
The staff I encountered were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful (although I did manage to make one laugh as I tripped over my own feet on the way out of the lift!).
As mentioned in some other reviews some of the rooms could do with a little TLC but all in all a nice place to stay at a good price.

Room Tip: Try to avoid the 420+ rooms as its a bit of a trek from the lift (and down some stairs). Would be okay if you haven't much luggage.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, your comments concerning the friendliness of the staff will be passed on, it is important to make an impression on our guests.
We are working on a redecoration programme to improve the rooms, which does take time, but do try to ensure that the hotel is spotlessly clean. We hope to see you again soon

I must have walked past the Gardens Hotel 100 times but never realised it was there. But last week on a trip to Old Trafford, I decided to stay over night, and looked for availability. The Gardens stuck out for it's value and location - £30 B&B with a special 10% online discount! Less than 5 mins walk from Piccadilly Station was perfect for me, and I checked in with very friendly staff, and although my room was at the back of the hotel, a long walk from the lift, it was clean and tidy. It was a twin room, and had a desk and tea facilities. The WiFi worked well. It had everything a good mid-class should have, and great value. Yes it probably could have done with a lick of paint and some new bedding, but the bed was comfortable, and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to my friends.

Many Thanks for posting your review, it is surprising how many people walk past our small entrance and do not realise we are here. First stay for me and my husband. We booked an internal double room for one night (£36) and were very pleased with the staff service and facilities. I usually prefer to stay in hostels for cost and convenience, but as we had to be at the airport early the following morning, and had a few pieces of luggage, we wanted a private room with at least a shower and sink.

The staff were very polite and friendly; reception area is very welcoming and clean. Our room had an ensuite bathroom, with towels, toiletries, hair dryer, excellent power shower and bath - all very clean. Wireless internet is included (very good signal), freeview TV, and tea/ coffee-making facilities. The room was very warm, but was equipped with a fan that kept us cool. We didn't take advantage of the included breakfast, as we had to leave before it was served (7am), and we overslept slightly in the incredibly comfortable bed.

It really is in the centre of Piccadilly and within easy walking distance of central attractions and all public transport. If we decide to visit Manchester for a couple of days' sightseeing, i will definitely try to book a room at this hotel.

Room Tip: Internal rooms have no window, which means no traffic noise, but if you don't like a warm bedroom it may be a little uncomfortable. A fan was provided in our room, which kept us cool as we slept.
