We stayed here mid August the night before our holiday. We also had a parking package with them for our car. On arrival the car park was busy but saw someone about to leave so grabbed a spot.

No queue at the check in desk but there was a lady receptionist who was quite rude. 2 of us checked in, I didn't print out the hotel booking confirmation as I used to always do this at hotels everywhere but never been asked for it so it was just wasting people. The nice receptionist asked for it but when I said I didn't have it, no problem just asked for name, details etc and got us checked in. The other 2 of our party, booked seperately, had a lady who was demanding the hotel booking reference. I had to try to log into their emails on my phone, mean while a queue is starting to form behind us. So just as I finally get into their emails and start searching for it, she says ok well whats your name, yes we have that booking, I've checked you in. So what was the point of making a fuss about the booking reference?!

Anyway the rooms themselves were nice, though they were miles away from the only 2 lifts in the hotel. We decided to go down to the bar to get something to eat, one half of the area is the restaurant though its not very clear. We wanted to order from the cheaper bar menu, but there were no seats in the allocated 'bar area.' In the end she let us sit in the restaurant section but ordering from the bar menu, which was right next to us anyway. Food was of course very overpriced, it was nice enough though. The Irish bar is of course, stupidly expensive.

That night we had a poor night's sleep. There's some god awful noise from some sort of extractor unit outside, possibly on the roof? It was loud and kept going on and off all night.

Check out the next day was easy and swift, we decided to eat at the airport instead of the expensive hotel breakfast. The transfer to the airport was very quick and easy and the bus driver is very pleasant and polite.

We came back to the hotel after our holiday to collect our car. It was hard to find the phone in the arrivals to phone the hotel to arrange the transfer. However the transfer was quick and again, a nice driver. Once we got back to the hotel, we were informed there'd been a problem with our car. After 2 weeks it didn't want to start at the off-site parking location, so they'd decided to arrange for a tow truck to bring it back to the hotel, so that's £60 please. Quite annoyed about this as we have full RAC coverage and could have done this ourselves, included in our cover. Found out why though, your car is taken on a 30 mile round trip to whatever car park is used! The reception then messed around for ages trying to take this payment, whilst someone comes out with jump start leads to get our car started for us.

It was dark and we were tired so got straight in the car. When we got home the next day we realised one of the back lights was smashed and there was scratches on the car. I noticed another review on here where they had damage to their car, this shouldn't be happening. So not only did we have a damaged car, but we'd also paid them £60! I don't recommend parking your car here!!

Room Tip: DON'T PARK YOUR CAR HERE. Ask for a room without noise from some sort of extractor unit on the roof!

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments, I would like to offer my sincere apologies at the outset for the poor level of service you received from the Reception team member when you checked into the hotel.
I was also sorry to learn your vehicle required to be towed back to the hotel for your return from holiday, unfortunately this did incur a charge. With regard to your later claim of damage to your vehicle I would like to confirm that we can not accept responsibility for any damage to vehicles unless caused by negligence or wilful damage by ourselves or our partners Holiday Car Care, a trusted local family owned company, with whom we have been associated for over 17 years. We have the utmost confidence in them to handle over 25,000 vehicles a year on our behalf.

We booked this due to a very early flight at Manchester airport, and our expectations were not overly high.
But from the moment we got there until the time of collecting our car at the end of the fortnight's holiday, everything went extremely smoothly.
The room was very clean with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower very good with nice complimentary toiletries, with ample space for storage. There was some aircraft noise but nothing that ear plugs didn't solve! And we did choose a hotel only metres from the terminal, so can't really complain.
We had a couple of drinks in the bar, which were quite expensive even by airport hotel standards, and then ate in the oriental restaurant, which was really nice and not a bad price.
We had booked for one night - before our early start and two weeks parking, and one massive bonus was that we had access to the car until we left for the airport in the morning, so we could leave our overnight bag behind.
When we returned two weeks later, we called the hotel via the courtesy phone as instructed, and were told where to wait for the bus, which arrived within 5 minutes and the short journey back to the hotel with immediate collection of our car, meant that we were on the road easily within 30 mins of landing!
We will defintely use this hotel and parking facility again, it was all that we required and at a very reasonable rate.

We stayed here prior to a 6am departure to Italy. Car parking was straightforward, dropped the keys off with reception. We tried to get a table in the restaurant but they had a large party arriving so we sat in the bar area. The food was excellent, service was friendly, and efficient.

The shuttle to the airport was promptl and we easily made our check in.

On our return we phoned as instructed, we were picked up within 10 minutes and collected the car. We ordered food again in the bar : once again the service was prompt and friendly.

Will definitely use again.

Another perfect stay, ideal place for an overnight stop prior to an early flight.
Courtesy coach included. Good choice of Thai or bar food, Though must admit the steak was a bit tough this time. Such a shame we had to get up so early as the bed was perfect.

Stayed here for one night as part of an airport parking package. The parking element of the package was very convenient - drop the car off at the hotel, then collect it from the hotel upon your return from holiday. There's a free shuttle bus into the terminals which is helpful if you have lots of cases to transport, however if you're travelling light terminal 1 is literally a 3 minute walk across the road.

The hotel itself is large and it seemed quite a trek to our room! The twin room was spacious and comfortable; with a really nice touch in the form of a free 'This Works - Sleep' kit which included a relaxing pillow spray and pulse point roll on - must have worked as I managed a good nights sleep in spite of normally being very anxious pre flight!
The wake up call guarantee was great - nothing worse than worrying about waking up before an early morning flight.

We had a snack and drink in the hotel bar - relatively expensive but convenient with plenty of choice.

Would definitely stay here again; a good, relaxing base for anyone using the airport.
