Hotel location was grand - easy walk from Terminal
Room was fine
Staff were very helpful
Breakfast was OK
Heres my personal rub - why do we continue to have outrageous charges for WiFi
And heres the real stupidity that comes from it.
After booking in I walked next door to Bewleys Hotel were the WiFi was free.
Bewleys got our business for an eveing meal for two and a bottle of wine [although you did not have to buy anything to avail of the internet].
Is it cost effective for the Crowne Palza to charge for theirs - obviously not.
When will they ever learn.

Like many others, we did the "one night stay and park while you're away" deal. Effiicient check-in, room standard- issue hotel, but clean and comfortable. Surprisingly good bar meal, and nice that virtually all the staff were locals. We left very early in the morning so didn't try the breakfast. The hotel is literally a couple of minutes walk from the terminal, but they have a shuttle bus which operates 24hrs a day. Our car was waiting for us when we returned. We paid £99 for a nights' stay and car parking for a week. I reckon it was pretty good value.

Stayed here for one night prior to flying from Manchester.

Got a really great deal for 15 days parking and hotel, we booked via the company website as found it much cheaper.

We got upgraded to club room for free which was very good.

Paid for breakfast which was good.

Overall, very good and having stayed at the Hilton I would say this is probably better (but not sure if the upgrade swung it for us!)

This Hotel is just a walk away from terminal 3 and even with suitcases is often quicker than waiting for the shuttle bus.The Hotel is comfortable and the rooms are bog standard, but a great start to a holiday. The bar is also pretty good and the restaurants, particularly the Thai one , excellent. Our choice of Hotel when at Manchester Airport.

We stayed here as a stopover enroute to somewhere else. We got a very good rate and normally are quite happy with Crowne Plaza. The hotel its self did not disappoint. We did arrive late and leave quite eraly so didnt manage to use any facitlites. The rooms where great though as always. Modern, clean and spacious. We had booked 2 triples but the children wanted to be in the same room so we were able to easily move the extra bed and still have room. One thing to watch, I booked the extras beds over the phone and when I got there they tried to charge me for them. This had NOT been mentioned when I requested them. I queried this and they did eventually withdraw the charge. They only negative was the noisiness of the other guests. The outer doors are not very thick and so from about 1145-3am there was banging, shouting down the corridors and out of rooms. Next time I may request a room further away from the lifts. The funny thing was that there was no noise from the window that overlooked the airport! We had to pay £10 for the car park, I always think this is unfair with all hotels especially at the airports as how else would you get to the hotel and it was only for a few hours whilst we slept. Overall though a good stay.
