The Hilton Manchester Airport is.... *drumroll* average... and sure what more could you want for a 1 night stay at an airport hotel but average?

They have a courtesy bus that will take you from the airport to the hotel - be warned it also goes to other terminals, so you could be a while in the car with the driver. Getting to the airport the next morning had a 10 minute wait which was fine, the complimentary transport is very frequent.

The room was fine (apart from the TV which had a fuzzy reception), they charge for internet though they do give one hour free in the lobby with a special password - tho not being in your room means you can't look at porn on your laptop *joke* :)

We arrived late and the cafe was closing, which meant the lobby had little or no atmosphere. We did get some drinks and a costa coffee (tho I don't think Mr Costa would have been beaming with pride about this coffee).

Finally, watch out for the toaster at breakfast time, the manager gave out to me for using the wrong type of bread in it - yet there were no signs or indications saying what type of bread should be used. I thought it was a silly rule to have, He said some types of bread might cause a fire, which is worrying, especially if a pyromanic were to check into the hotel. I was surprised at the manager making a fuss over it, if it was me I'd have just gone and printed up a sign telling the next person using the toaster to use the special bread, rather than loosing my loaf over it.

My partner and I attended my good friend's wedding at somewhere nearby this hotel recently and we decided to stayed overnight to 'recover'

Hotel was fine. When we went to our room, the decor and standard of it was just ok for a hilton, I've stayed in several Hiltons in UK, USA, Thailand and felt this one wasn't up to standard but not too bad at least it was clean. Full Breakfast was good and nothing to complain about.

We stayed one night prior to our flight from T3 the next day. We paid £51.00 for the room and breakfast which we thought was a brilliant price. Check-in was quick and easy with an extremely pleasant receptionist. We were in a ground floor room which was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also clean and had a nice array of complimentary toiletries. We had our evening meal in the restaurant. The food was excellent, although a bit pricey (to be expected really). We had a good night's sleep - the bed was comfy and the room was warm without being overly warm or stuffy. Breakfast the next morning was organised and efficient but we couldn't do justice to the vast choice as pre-flight nerves were kicking in! We didn't have to wait long for the shuttle bus service to T3 and the driver was helpful and courteous. Overall we had a very pleasant one night stay at this hotel and it proved to be the perfect start to our holiday. We will certainly stay here again when the need arises.

I really did not enjoy mys tay in this hotel. First of all the room was very horrible, dirty and old. There were NO MINI BAR which is not accepatble for a business hotel. Then the TV channels choice was very poor. As well the room service was not good at all. I finally did not touch my food as it was not tasty. Finally its not located in the airport and you need a shuttle to go.

I do not recommend this hotel. There are other hotels like Radisson which seems better and closest to the airport.

This one needs a refurbishement.
