We first visited this theatre when we moved to the North West, the second year of the theatre opening. Our first visit was Leaping Ginger, which was brilliant. Since then we have hardly missed a performance, and enjoyed almost every one of them. Some incredible performances and staging, theatre in the round is wonderful, by comparison to London theatres which now seem scruffy and outdated. We have attended special events and lectures and are now Patrons and have a floor plaque and bought plaques for other people. Food has got better over the years, the ice cream is lovely and the shop always has interesting objects, jewellery and card. We are VERY fortunate to have this gem in the North West (oh and the staff are superb!!)

this is one of the most original theatres i have visited .
they always have original and interesting shows on ,
it is free to go inside and look around the building so you can check out the actual theatre and see some of the art exhibits they might be displaying,

Amazing play and phenomenally well staged. They made it rain on stage...in the round!! Great work. We sat on the second row of the first balcony tier and our view was great. Can't wait to see something there again.
The building itself is awe inspiring.....a high tech space ship landed in architecturally beautiful surroundings.

The Building is quite unique and there is so much history there. It is always a pleasure to watch a play there as you actually feel part of the show. I took my friends from Surrey there a couple of years ago-they loved it

Every production is first class, the staging and set designs are often breathtaking in their ingenuity. The seating in the round makes it an intimate experience and most enjoyable.
