Stopped here for 1 night on business.

Good news easy to find, good loaction..bad news no parking..in the NCP £16 per ni

The hotel looks preety new as is quite busy however i found the room rate unbealiavble at £135 PN not including breakfast!! and no pool or gym. ( even thought it was booked well in advance) the room was very basic and not what i would expect from an more mid/upper mid market chain.hotel .the room was more IBIS quality. Staff very helpful. Food very poor in resurant, breakfast not much better for another £10.
all in all would not stop here again as the hotel certainly does not offer and value for money..

Room Tip: dont bother

Dear guest,

Thank you for leaving feedback, we always appreciate guests taking the time to let us know how their stay went and give us the opportunity to improve. To get the best available rate I would always recommend booking direct via our website as this always has a breakfast option available & we guarantee this offers the best price – and we even guarantee to beat any lower price found elsewhere online, in comparison to the Manchester market we are competitively priced and always try and offer good value for money when compared to the other hotels in the city centre.

I’m pleased to hear the staff all looked after you and were helpful, although am disappointed to learn that you were unhappy with our breakfast buffet. We offer a very competitively priced all you can eat breakfast buffet with a selection of cereals, a fruit salad buffet with natural yoghurt, a selection of pastries & bread items with cheeses & jam etc as well as a full hot English Breakfast with Sausage, Bacon, Scrambled & Fried Eggs, Hash Browns, Vegetarian Sausage, Grilled Tomato amongst other hot items.

Car parking in Manchester city centre can be quite expensive & to help with this additional expense we offer a 15% discount at two local car parks, the most central is the Manchester Central NCP just opposite the hotel which costs £15.60 for 24 hours after the discount, although we not offer a discount off the Bridgewater NCP is around 5 minutes walk away and costs £8.50 for 24 hours after the discount. We also offer passes to the Bannatynes Spa on the same road as the hotel at reception for £7.50, this has full gym facilities, spa, swimming pool & sauna.

If we can help with anything else or if you’d like to take the time to discuss your stay further please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards

I booked this hotel for 2 nights for a stay during a conference.

At check in the hotel staff were very helpful, clear and friendly. They were quick and efficient so that I could move my car from the drop off zone.

The hotel has no car parking, and the suggested car parking was very expensive. I found another car park around the corner from the suggested car park for much cheaper.

The room was very clean and tidy and warm. I requested to change rooms to a lower level room as the lighting wasn't great in the bathroom and didn't like staying on the top floor. The staff were very accommodating and moved me to a new room with no problems.

The new room was also very clean and warm and had a great view. The bed was very comfortable and definitely a restful night.

The hotel was very nice and pleasant and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend people to stay here and would come back.

Dear guest,

Thank you for leaving feedback, we always appreciate guests taking the time to let us know how their stay went and give us the opportunity to improve. I’m very pleased to hear you have a pleasant stay and will pass on your positive comments to the staff.

We have recently added a 2nd car park discount, so now offer 15% off both the NCP Manchester Central across from the hotel & also the Bridgewater NCP on Little Peter Street which is cheaper & only around 5 minutes walk away.

Lovely looking hotel, good service and very clean. Room was very dim & dull with no main lighting source only wall lights and lamps which was insufficient, and so the room had a dismal feeling.
The hotel provided a generous complimentary tea tray which was nice, they also put spare pillows in the wardrobe.
The bar was nice, service was good but the prices are shockingly high. My husband bought himself a pint of lager and a glass of wine for me and it cost just over £10!!! We ate in the bar and the food was very poor, my fish was a very welldone dark brown and swimming in grease... not at all appetising. The barman came to take my husband's plat when he had finished eating and asked me (as I was still eating) had I finished... we felt very rushed.
The breakfast was lovely with an amazing choice from hot bacon to fruit, cereal and pastries.

For £130.00 a night it was, a basic B&B without the breakfast that was an extra £20 each.
As soon as entering the room it was small, no character and had to close the curtains as a residential building opposite, no nets or blinds.
We at a spring ball lighting terrible for the ladies needing to do makeup.
Tiny bathroom, no work tops, basic toiletries no shower cap etc.
No bathrobe which I thought there would be as I didn't take my own, room cold, despite putting heating up?
On having a shower there was no water pressure, just a trickle, this was approx. 10.00 am so I don't think it was because of demand plus the bathroom door each time you opened it squeaked very loudly. Not recommended. Breakfast was nice.

Room Tip: Don't go to Jury's Inn

I’m disappointed to hear you were unhappy with your bedroom at the hotel & feel that if you had contacted reception we could have resolved many of your concerns. Although we have recently installed net curtains on all of our bedrooms facing the office block next to the hotel to offer more privacy & are in the process of installing new lighting in more than two thirds of the bedrooms which we fell could be improved.

If we can help with anything else or if you’d like to take the time to discuss your stay further please don’t hesitate to contact me.
