Hotel is modern, clean very comfortable. Easily get to from the connected walkways from train station and terminals 1, 2 and T3 (takes about 2-5 mins from all). Staff are friendly and courteous. We requested a room with a view over the airport (which we had room 677). Rooms are roomy, have a desk, 2 comfortable chairs, large windows, air con, tea and coffee facilities. Lamps, wardrobes and a very clean bathroom. Beds were very comfortable (we had two doubles). However duvet and pillows are feathers not fabric. All in all a perfect hotel for an overnight stay at the airport.

Room Tip: For spotters, you want a 6th floor room for best views. If you are just staying overnight, any room...

This was my last stop in the UK and it took me handily from arrival by train to my flight next morning. Physically located inside the airport buildings with easy access via the skywalk to the train station and airport terminals (not T3 though), you don't have to go outside to catch a train or a plane. The problem with this, as with all airport hotels, is that in spite of the very best efforts of the staff to be friendly and helpful (exception to this were the grumpy waiting staff at breakfast) the place can't help but be a hive of busy-ness and generate the atmosphere of an airport transit lounge. The facilities are very heavily used and are showing signs of wear and tear. A particular hotel bugbear of mine is slow running plumbing and that was definitely the case in my bathroom - needs a thorough flush out and overhaul. Otherwise the room was clean with a huge bed and very comfortable duvet and pillows so I had a great night's sleep. There are multiple reception desks to accommodate the lines of guests waiting to check in or out so a minimum of waiting about. What else can you say? It was not cheap as hotels go but worth it for the convenience factor.

When we booked this hotel i was expecting to step into luxury, the staff were mostly foreign and one guy saw us waiting to be served at reception and moved to another desk and left us waiting, a lot of money for our stay for what it was, no breakfast inc, room reminded me of a glorified Premier inn, no character, very samey, Bed was comortable enough , just usual basics, nothing to write home about.

Room Tip: just request what you need.

Where do I begin! Tired dated, decor. Restaurant is a total rip off. You can't open the windows the corridors to the rooms smell vile, as does the lift. You can't open any windows in the room and the AC did not work. I have have the worst night sleep I've had in ages. I paid half the price two weeks ago to stay in a premier inn and slept like a king there! As for the sauna and swimming pool, pool was cloudy!!! The sauna was ready to be ripped down, drain blocked and stunk of sweat. All in all a horrible stay. Get me out of here quick!

The Radison Blu is probably the best hotel in which to stay the night before you fly from Manchester Airport. The Park and Fly package costs only a little more than leaving the car in the Airport carpark, and you get a nice nights accommodation and a easy, early start without having to drive to the airport first thing in the morning.
It is a modern hotel with large, well equiped rooms and helpful, friendly staff. However the main advantage that the Radison Blu has over all the other airport hotels is the glass walk-way which takes you directly into the airport. All the other on-site airport hotels use shuttle buses to get you to and from the terminals. Particularly on your return jouney you only have to walk a short distance to the Radison where your car is waiting in the car park ready to drive home. You don't have to find a working phone to call the hotel and hang around for half an hour for the shuttle bus to collect you (only for someone else to jump into the shuttle bus you ordered!)
I fly regularly from Manchester Airport and having tried most of the other airport hotels I consider the Radison Blu to be better and more convenient than any of the others.

Room Tip: We booked a family room and actually got two adjoining rooms with a door between. The kids thought...

We have stayed here a number of times before and after holidays. It is in serious need of upgrading! Long since past it's best! Why should we put up with it! We haven't seen any money spent on the rooms over the 15 years we have stayed here! The management seem to e resting on the location which isn't acceptable!

The hotel is good but some of the staff are not quite so good. We stayed the night before a very early flight and left our car for eight days there. As it was an early morning flight we wanted to eat early so we could get some sleep. We just asked for a snack and was told there was a thirty minute wait for a table, so we said what about a sandwich or chips etc to be looked down on (Maybe because i wasn't in a suit) We ended up with no food and just bit our lips. The room was good and not at all noisy considering we were next to the airport. I just feel had i been in a suit i would have been treated differently at the restaurant. By the way i am in a suit most days so when on holiday no way. The car parking is good and the car was ready for us on our arrival back in the uk. So all in all Average / Good Hotel at the price charged

Room Tip: The room we had faced the Airport, so good view and noise levels ok
