“Best start to holiday you can get”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014

Stayed at the hotel for the 2nd time in January, fantastic! Check in, quick and easy and we were upgraded to a suite which was totally unexpected, it included free drinks and canapés in the lounge, upgraded room with robes and slippers and breakfast.
Staff are friendly ,location is phenomenal. Would stay at this hotel without question with every Manchester departure.

Stayed here the night before we flew to Cyprus for our holiday on 19th May with a park and fly offer.
Checking in at reception was smooth and easy; we had a booked a standard double room but were very kindly, and greatly appreciated, upgraded to a business class room on the 9th floor. The only exception was that we couldnt use the business lounge, which was no problem as we were happy with the complimentary upgrade anyway.
The room was fantastic and overlooking the runway which had an absolutely brilliant view. The room was a great size and had a very large comfy bed with also a good sized bathroom with bathrobes and slippers and some nice smelling lotions & bath smellies.
Room was quiet and no aircraft noise either. Air con in room good as windows dont open, or eve have a small vent.
Hotel not the easiest to enter by car due to lack of airport signage on way in, and also hotel car park not very big so if you decide to leave the hotel to go out for food in the early evening, as we did, we found it very difficult to find space to park upon arrival back at the hotel. Many others were parked on the many double yellow lines within the car park itself.
Check out in the morning was smooth and hassle free and car keys were duly left at reception for the car to be moved to its park and fly location.
Upon arrival back at hotel following our holiday, collection of keys was quick and efficient by reception staff.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again, absolutely one of the best we have stayed in on the airport - we normally stay at the Hilton or Crowne Plaza- but we got a fantastic early deal through booking.com which the hotel or other websites couldn't beat on price so always worth the look around the websites etc.
Thank you to Radisson Manchester airport for a lovely start to our holiday, which was also incidentally our wedding and honeymoon.

Room Tip: Top floor overlooking airport-especially if you enjoy watching the planes etc.

Checkin was simple, the room we were given has just been updated, the drinks and beverages were a good price. We did not eat as we had Sunday lunch however the prices were very reasonable. The bed was great but the pillows lacked substance and went flat easily. Good location for terminal 2.

We stayed here the night before our holiday to Mexico. I've stayed at Bewleys, Crown Plaza and Holiday Inns at Manchester Airport before and this hotel was most definitely the best. We upgraded to a business class room at a cost of £40 and this was a good decision, the room was lovely, we had complimentary drinks and canapés in the business lounge and complimentary breakfast. The room had a view of the runway and was really well soundproofed, we couldn't hear a sound from outside. Staff was excellent, especially Dimitri at reception.

My only complaint would be the pillows which looked lovely but when you lay on them they collapsed to mattress level! We asked for foam pillows but got more of the same.

We ate dinner in the restaurant which was fine, not brilliant but perfectly adequate although the service was a little sullen.

We would definitely stay here again, in fact I really hope we can.

I stayed on business in a 'business class' room after switching from the Hilton near the airport due to the Radisson's location inside the airport.

Checkin was slow and difficult as the - enthusiastic - receptionist didn't have a great command of English and was clearly missing some training and so didn't understand the systems well.

The room was smart, clean and recently refurbished. The bed comfy and the view over the carpark and airport quite nice - for an airport hotel. In-room internet was free and the connection strong.

Food in the restaurant was very average, but the service was terrible. Had to wait 15 mins before I could get someone to take my order even though there were only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant. This level of inattention continued and it was a struggle to get service or even the bill. Staff seemed disinterested in the few customers they had. Room service has almost the same menu and strangely - and wonderfully - the prices are pretty much the same if you eat in your room.

There is a business centre, but it is only open monday-friday.

For the price, I would say that this hotel is too expensive for the quality and level of service. The location is great and I did like the rooms, but would probably stay at a another hotel with a shuttle service rather than at the radisson when I next fly out of Manchester Airport.

Room Tip: Ask for an airport view. In-room dining costs approximately the same as in the restaurant and the se...

Thank you for you review.
I am sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations on this occasion and will of course review your feedback with my relevant department Managers to address the unacceptable service levels you experienced.
It is disappointing to read that you would choose not to return. If I may be of personal assistance with either making this situation right for you, or indeed should you choose to give us another chance, please do not hesitate (Michael.weston@radissonblu.com).
I do hope you will choose to return when I am confident you will note a marked improvement.
Best regards,
Michael

Stayed here for 1 night before flying to florida.
A fab room with no noise considering looked out onto airport. Lovely bar and restaurant with very polite staff.
Breakfast was fab with everything you could want from champagne to croissants. Def worth doing this before you go on holiday, so relaxing and good to spend that extra night with your friends and family.

Travelled up to Manchester airport ready to fly to malta, as we had an early flight we stayed here . Found the hotel very easy to get to and the room was lovely , all you could need. We ordered room service food good and reasonably priced, would definitely stay here again and it's only a 5min walk to terminal one.
