We stayed here the night before we flew off for our honeymoon and it was a great experience. The bed was comfy, the TV large with a lot of TV channels, the room was generally a nice place to be and the location was spot on. As far as airport hotels go it ticks all the boxes although the food and drink is not cheap. We decided to venture into Manchester on the train £4 each return from the adjacent station and includes free travel around the central zone of the metro link (although the network has changed and central links from Piccadilly are pants now). We will return if our situation warrants us to spend more here than at other hotels.

The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Wi-Fi was included in the price of the room which was good. It is great that the hotel is connected to Terminal 1 and 2 so you don't even have to go outside to get your flight. We had an early morning flight but this made it stress free. The only complaint is that the health club is not great. The pool is very small and the steam room looked very old and tired. We didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on the food.

Stayed here a night before our early morning flight to Ibiza. The signs to park were very clear. First impressions of the hotel were great, got greeted at the door and shown to the check in desk which is on the third floor. Check in was quick and easy with lovely staff who explained all about room service, the bar area and check out.

The room was gorgeous!!! Spacious with very large window overlooking the airport runway! I loved watching the planes and kept the curtains open all night to watch but you could not hear a thing which was great!! Bathroom was spotless as was the bedroom. Lovely touch was dressing gowns and slippers. There is a mini bar in the room but We didn't use this. There is also tea and coffee making facility's. Ordered room service which came quickly and all piping hot. Food and drinks were reasonable and gorgeous.

Never had much sleep as we had to be up for 2am but the check out was nice and easy and we was given directions to follow to get to terminal 1. There is a big tunnel leading from the hotel with one way taking you to terminal 1 and the other terminal 2.

All in all great stay and would defiantly return back!!!

Not a lot to say really. Had a problem with a noisy room from a fan and they changed my room. Good breakfast, comfortable bed. The only issue for me is that I hate not being able to open the bedroom window in hotels.

Wanted a direct flight to Las Vegas, after almost 20 years of flying via Amsterdam, Paris etc.
Decided to drive down to Manchester the day before our Virgin flight and chose the Radisson due to the fact that it's connected to the Airport. Very glad we made the choice - after a 3 hour drive, check in on the 9th floor was a breeze. Ali was pleasant and professional. Check in took all of 5 minutes and it was off to the room. We had upgraded our room and feel it was worth the extra. The room was a good side and spotlessly clean. We had a view of the runway and were only just a minutes walk from the executive lounge. The shower offered settings ranging from relaxing "rain like" to a full on power shower! Free in house movies were also included in the deal.
Spent most of the evening chilling in the lounge - alcoholic drinks are complimentary early evening and a couple of large wines helped sooth the pre-flight nerves. Early night - slept like a baby in the very comfortable bed. Enjoyed breakfast in the lounge the following morning - there was an abundance of cereals and breads to enjoy. You can also order from the kitchen - the eggs benedict were superb.
Check out was fast and car keys were deposited. On return, (after a fantastic break), keys were retrieved in less than 5 minutes and we were on our way.
Also have to mention that hotel staff were very helpful in checking in to our flight and printing out our boarding passes the night before our flight.
All in all - a great start to the holiday, and plan to do the same for any future trips to the States. Have seen some of the less positive reviews, but our experience was first class from all members of staff and in the hotel facilities. I would recommend the upgrade if possible, the extras involved make it an excellent deal in my opinion.

The hot water in the shower was almost non existent. The taps did not work properly. The bathroom tissues ran out. A deduction was made from our bill and we were upgraded to the Executive floor on our return. However, we were initially refused entry to the Executive lounge.
We were not impressed.

This was our first time at the Radisson Blu and we thought we would treat ourselves to a luxury hotel night before our holiday. I had paid for the room through my credit card points so thought everything would go smoothly during the check in. How wrong could I be, firstly I was told that we needed to pay approx £97 and my credit card was taken. It was really difficult to understand the check in staff but once I realised what was happening I asked for the transaction to be cancelled. I produced my booking confirmation and then the gentleman disappeared in the back for 10 minutes. He returned saying that the matter would be sorted. This did not give me much confidence and to be honest really spoilt our night at the hotel. The next morning at check out I was again asked for the £97. I explained again and produced my confirmation, I was told it would be sorted. As you can imagine we did not walk away feeling convinced. We were not contacted by any member of staff to apologise! We did not receive the service we expected.
