The room I stayed in while here was small but clean and comfortable. The hotel is very centrally located within easy reach of the city centre. One of the lifts was out of service while I was there and sometimes meant a long wait to take the lift. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Reception staff (Ahmed) very helpful, smooth check-in. Room quite small but adequate, the double bed (my side) was against the wall which was not great as I like to 'hang over' the edge normally. Bed comfortable, pillows not so but I always miss my own pillow when away. Very clean and tidy, nice bathroom, powerful shower. We had bought a 'Wowcher' deal which gave us a meal (either burger & chips or fish & chips) and a drink. My fish, chunky chips and mushy peas was lovely as was hubby's burger, chips and salad. Both freshly cooked (gorgeous chips) and piping hot. We were the only ones in the dining room at the time (6o/c ish). We did not linger as we were going to the theatre.
Room was quiet and we had the window open all night.
Breakfast was fine tho busy. There was obviously a conference on (midweek) and we had to wait for dishes to be topped up for cooked breakfast. We had to share tables with strangers as did most people as no tables for 2, and only limited tables for 4. Business people on our table obviously did not want to speak with strangers which was a little awkward. Breakfast fine though.
Hotel handy for centre of Manchester. Approx 15 mins walk to shopping centre/trams. 10 mins walk to Palace Theatre.
A good experience all round and excellent value for money.

Room Tip: We were on 3rd floor overlooking a courtyard - very quiet

I was extremely disappointed in the room provided in my stay - this was a very small room, where the very small (smaller than a regular double) bed was pushed up against the wall, and there was very little floor space. My husband slept on the wall side and banged into it several times during the night. We also asked if we could be allocated a bigger room as I am 9 months pregnant and space is currently necessary but they were unable to accommodate us.

We also had a deal on the room rate including dinner, however the options were extremely limited and being pregnant and having allergies I found there was nothing I could eat, so had to go elsewhere. The waiter told me I was unable to swap any options from the regular menu which would have been ideal.

Thank you for taking the time to send us your comments regarding your recent stay with us at the Days Hotel Manchester.

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay this time, we do have other larger rooms however they are subject to availability. We do try to accommodate everyone as best we can, especially guests who really need them however when we are fully booked this can be proven difficult.

Regarding the meal options which were available, should you wish to discuss the meal options which were available to you please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

I was very impressed with this hotel, very reasonably priced and excellent location, close by to canal street and the city centre. Rooms had free wifi and breakfast wasn't bad. I'd definitely stay here again. Great value for money and rooms clean and tidy

Stayed in the Days hotel for two night, Friday 1st November till Sunday 3rd. stayed in a twin room as i was over with a friend for a football match. The staff were all very friendly and polite and the room was clean and tidy. It's not the biggest twin room i have ever stayed in but for the price i paid it was excellent value for money. The only complaint i have is the breakfast, it's not the lack of choice because that was fine. Continental and full english breakfast served which you helped yourself too. It was the heat of the cooked breakfast, it was pretty cold on both days which was a disappointment. The hotel is situated about five minutes from Piccadilly train station and close enough to all the major attractions of Manchester. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, just hope they can get the breakfast sorted out.

At only £30 a night over a weekend we weren't expecting much but to be fair the hotel was brilliant for that price! Rooms are small but they had everything you needed with friendly staff at hand. The breakfast was only £7ish each and was a buffet style so great value with everything you want available. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks

We stayed here recently for 4 nights when in Manchester. The rooms are relatively small but have everything you need. This includes an iron and ironing board which I am always pleased to see in a hotel room. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Piccadilly station (go via the metrolink exit it is closer). The hotel has a really nice bar with a courtyard garden adjacent. The rooms were clean and the staff really pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was really good too - however could do with a new toaster (only 2 of the 6 slots working caused a queue for toast)
