“Excellent Greek restaurant”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

Staff are excellent in this restaurant. We quite often haven't booked as we decide on the last minute where we want to eat but they have always found us a table for 2. Early bird menu is good value. The slow cooked lamb is wonderful and falls off the bone. House wine is palatable.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Staff were warm and friendly, good variety on the menu, not particularly expensive, just did not 'wow' me. Buzzing atmosphere and perfectly nice though, and nice to have the option of Greek within Manchester.

“Excellent”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

Visited here for the first time with friends in the afternoon. Pouring down outside and very quiet when we arrived , only a couple others in at 4:30. However we were greeted with staff with big umbrella and could choose where we sat. sat by the window as due to the horrible weather it was a bit dark inside, even asked for our candle to be lit.. Food was lovely. Chose from the early bird two courses at £12.90 and it was delicious, dips and pitta bread followed by kebabs and rice for me. Nice wine , unrushed and good value. By the time we were leaving at 7:30 it was packed. Will definitely return

“Very cool”
Reviewed 26 July 2014 via mobile

Went last night for last minute dinner and was really pleased. The inside isnt very welcoming, it's rather dark and there was some live guitar which made conversation challening. But not for me! We indeed sat outside where they put a few tables at the porch. It was also very warm which made it better. The spot is very good (facing the town hall), staff was a bit abrupt at first when telling me they don't have pitta gyros as they are not some "take away".. But beside that they then got friendly and i enjoyed exchangin a few words in greek (learnt in school not on a lads holiday :). Food was ok. Started with a tsatsiki dip with a quite small pitta. Then the souvlaki was very good, i had the lamb one with chips. Nice grill job, and chips crunchy and big. Wasnt too expensive, considering that the zorba dance by the staff was included in the bill! Had fun, enjoyed the outdoor seating, liked the food. Will recommend it! Eufkariste..
