This recently refurbished hotel was better than we ever thought that it would be. Spacious clean room, good welcome from staff and the location is ideal. I would recommend.as being good value for money, straightforward hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed on the ground floor, the on Y noise was from the ducks in the Irwell.

Stayed at the Travel Lodge Central Manchester on an overnight stay to attend a concert. Great value for money £26.00. Very comfortable, clean room. Hotel well maintained, clean and provides everything needed for a City Hotel. Couldn't find fault with anything.

Typical Travelodge. Hotel well positioned for the MEN Arena about 10mins away. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Not many parking places. Breakfast was OK but not a great selection of fruit. The cooked items ran out a bit when the rush suddenly started. Overall a good place to stay for all the City Centre.

Arrived at hotel to park my car the most terrible car park Ive see. Building work going on and industrial skips in spaces. No available carparking spaces. The worst of it isthat they expected you to pay to park there(7.50). There was no information about the building work on the website. I ended up parking parking in the NCP carpark costing me 18. The staff didn't really seem to care and completely forgot about the situation the previous day and when i was checking out the same staff asked me if I was parked in their carpark. This really showed to me how much they had empathized with my situation the previous day. Never will I stay there again, there is a premier inn around the corner and actually closer to the MEN. I know where I will be going next time.

We stayed at this travelodge for one night as we were at the Beyonce concert at the arena an thought it was great. Just a few minutes walk from the shops so in a great location. We were in room 705 on the top floor an it was quite a big spacious room with a double an a single bed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again yes it was basic but very clean an thats exactly what we were after!

When booking this room we were quite concerned because of the negative reviews that the hotel had received. I had read horror stories of the walls being mouldy and the rooms being dirty, but this was far from the case. However, this was not the case at all. The room was spotless and a very good size. Tea and coffee was provided, also with a television and provided the main channels you would expect to find. The bathroom was also very tidy, my only criticism in there was there was only a small bar of soap to be used for washing up, but this was not a huge concern. The location was around 10 minutes walk from the city centre, which made it quite convenient for us. Overall, it was very good value for money. I believe it wasn't the most spectacular stay you may have, but this would be an ideal hotel for anyone who is planning on staying one or two nights and spending little time in the room. If you are planning on staying longer it may be possible to look elsewhere, but overall I believe we got our value for money.
