A great budget hotel in the heart of Manchester's Norrhern Quarter. Close to the shopping streets. Brand new, very modern and comfortable. Breakfast is basic, but included in the rate. Book early as it fills up fast.

The location is perfect as hotel is short walk to shopping street, cathedral, Printworks etc. Our twin room was very clean, quiet and good size. Beds were extremely comfortable (with 2 pillows which is important for me). Only few minutes walk there's a Euro Car Park (only £5.50 for 24h) which hotel recommends. Breakfast is VERY basic, but for the 50 pounds we paid for the room we didn't except gourmet breakfast and for us quality of the room was more important.

On my recent business trip to Manchester I spent a night at this fine hotel. Nothing fancy, no frill hotel but has all that a businessman needs: clean and modern room, good internet connection, comfortable bed, hearty breakfast, close to the central train station and pleasant staff. Also looks good on the expense account.
I particularly liked the decor of the room, reception area and especially the breakfast room.
If you are looking for a family oriented holiday hotel with lots of storage space, closets and drawers - this is not the hotel for you. But for a driving through businessman, who lives out of his suitcase and needs a safe and pleasant place to rest the night - this is the hotel I would recomend.

This hotel is a fantastic value for money and even included our breakfast in the bargain price. In a fantastic location in Manchester, perfect for shopping the MEN, transport links.

The shower is huge and fantastic, for people with lower mobility, bigger people, or more than one person.

The rooms are all lovely (I've stayed in a few on different floors) partly because the hotel is still relatively new and partly because they seem to be well kept.

Good tv, comfy bed, mood lighting in bathroom & bedroom. Floor to ceiling windows let in plenty of light and heavy curtains keep it out if you wish. Tea and coffee facilities are a little awkward as they are kept in an alcove but it's doable for short term needs.

Staff have always been helpful if I'd needed any assistance.

One thing that makes this hotel a little different, the lift. It's very fast, made of glass and you can see outside as you go up/down. At times it felt like a ride at the fairground. Whooooosh!

Room Tip: The higher you go the better the view with floor to ceiling windows.

We stayed here for one night in September, originally we were going to see a band but they rescheduled. We chose this hotel on the basis that it was the closest to the venue at a good price. Instead we went to the cinema; The Printworks is right around the corner from this hotel so it was easy to get too. We also had dinner in The Printworks, there is a lot available, we had a Nandos. We spent the day shopping, again, the hotel was close to the centre.

Excellent value for money, the room we had was spacious and clean. We had a room where the entire wall was window which had curtains for privacy. The shower was enormous and very contemporary. Right across from the hotel is a local shop as well which was convenient. The breakfast was nice; nothing special but I couldn't fault it.

It was a bit of a trek from the station (because we stuck to the main roads) but we found it rather easily. If I was to spend another one night stay in Manchester I would look to this hotel again.

Booked last minute the process was very good.
Found it quite easily but the access is not straight forward despite knowing Manchester very well. The location is great, in the heart of bohemian and trendy Northern Quarter. Parking around the hotel as well as very nearby in an NCP.
Perfect for partying, professionals and gig goers as only a few minutes away from the award winning MEN arena.
Once arrived, the professional staff proceeds very efficiently to the check in and we're off to our double bedroom, on the 7th floor overlooking Manchester skyline. Very good.
The room is spacious and contains a sofa bed (but no spare bedding to go with it unfortunately, although the staff was very quick at bringing us a kit).
The bathroom is really lovely and modern. Particularly enjoyed using the shower.
The bed felt a bit on the small side but did just very well.
The breakfast in the morning was decent. Nothing extravagant but good English fry up and everything one might expect of a continental buffet.
Nothing bad to say for the price paid really.

Room Tip: Ask for the one onlooking Manchester and as high as possible - 7th or 8th floor!
