We stayed here for one night following a mid week concert at Manchester Arena.
The hotel is ideally located from Manchester and the arena - only a 5 minute walk.
The hotel was lovely and clean, very new and had all the essentials. The bathroom was superb for the money!! We slept well and bed was comfy. The breakfast was a good choice, my hubby enjoyed scrambled egg, sausage and beans. What a good start to the day.
We have booked for next year for our next gig at the Arena and would recommend to everyone coming to Manchester.

Stayed for two nights. Staff excellent, rooms spotless, hotel spotless. The breakfast was a bit chaotic could do with a bit more space and a few instructions. Lovely big shower and bathroom. Within easy walking distance to the tram station. Would recommend and stay again.

The hotel is in an ideal location for theatres , shopping and a vast array of restaurants.
Staff friendly and rooms functional but still comfy with an excellent shower.
Agree with another reviewer that breakfast was a bit chaotic and the wifi exceptionally slow.
Would Definately stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night last week. The hotel is located in Shudehill, just 2 minutes walk from the Shudehill Interchange and Metrolink station and 5 minutes walk from the north entrance of Arndale Shopping Mall (exit to the right of Superdry in Arndale). The hotel is located behind the Crowne Plaza Manchester, and being away from the main street means it was rather quiet at night, with no noise whatsoever. Rooms are typical of a Holiday Inn Express with a double (or twin beds), sofa bed and walk in shower. The bathroom was quite dark. I wish there was more lighting, especially around the shower area.

Service was prompt and efficient. There was only 1 staff when I checked in and there was a slight queue. Not a long wait, and the staff was very friendly with things to do, directions, etc. Although she gave me the wrong Metrolink station for the Imperial War Museum, but it's a minor issue.

Breakfast and internet was included in the rate. The breakfast was more than adequate with a variety of fruit, juices, cereals, breads and 3 hot items (sausage, scrambled eggs, baked beans). The sausage was too fatty and salty for my liking and I wish there was bacon, but I wouldn't complain because it is more than sufficient for a single person.

Will recommend to anyone who just needs a place to rest their legs at night, while out and about during the day.

Have stayed twice this month. Really nice place, good location for northern quarter and arndale etc. rooms very comfortable and clean. Wifi a bit unreliable at times. I did think the breakfast was a bit chaotic, pokey little area to get your items and very little engagement by some staff. Second visit breakfast was spoiled slightly by a mad drunk woman, not sure whether she was a guest or not. Would still recommend hotel and stay again

8-10 minutes walk from the Arndale Centre. The roomrates are affordable & you get free breakfast & wifi. Some construction next to the hotel, but quiet during sat/sun.
The rooms are nice & clean, with a lovely bathroom & spacious shower.

The staff are very serviceminded & will greet any problem you may have, with a smile.
Stayed here several times & will continue to do so.

I hadn't been to Manchester for over 20 years so I had no memory of the city.Google map told me this was 0.8miles from the centre. It actually took me the best part of 20 minutes to walk anywhere from the hotel. So not the most convenient of locations if,like me,you are visiting museums. The room was a reasonable size,i was on my own.Comfortable bed and I slept well. The wi fi was a bit erratic. The kettle kept on going off of its own accord and the razer point only seemed to work for a few seconds at a time Breakfast was acceptable and it was included in the price..I got a very reasonable price which rather made up for the inconvenient location.
