This hotel is situated on an industrial estate near a railway viaduct and there are commercial vehicles loading in the early hours that keep you awake. The area feels dangerous at nights and there is nowhere safe to park your car either (the independent car park next door is not manned at night).

The staff in the hotel are indifferent to the point of being robotic and totally disinterested. There was a mistake in my booking and I arrived a week early and they made me pay again at a higher rate, rather than just bringing forward my booking that I had already paid for. Spend a little more money and book somewhere nicer, safer and more friendly, like the Premier Inn Salford Quays for example.

Me & my husband stayed here for 2 nights to see a concert. After a very long trip we were glad to get to the hotel and be checked in within minutes. Our room was clean, comfortable & suited our needs. The only complaint I had about the room was the outside of the window was filthy so you could barely see out of it...not that I intended to often with our view of strangeways!! The location is brilliant for the MEN arena and the nearby printworks & arndale centre. I did find out once we arrived that the free football museum is also only a 10 min walk so I was dragged along by the hubby! The staff were brilliant, we were served at the bar very quickly at all times even after the concert when it was busiest. The food was good (overpriced like every hotel though) but i would definitely stay here again. :)

A short walk from Victoria station. Welcoming staff. Good room with shower. Food was a bit slow arriving. Leave plenty of time if you are going to a show. Parking adjacent but gets full. This is a good Travelodge.Restores my faith

Stayed here for 2 nights (1 adult + i child) when travelling north for a concert.

Our room was newly refurbished and was large & had all essential amenities (hairdryer from reception). Bed was enormous and was extremely comfortable, bathroom adequate with power shower.

Breakfast good on both days, however tables not cleared away promptly, which led to no bowls for cereal.

Reception staff friendly & helpful.

Getting there: its close to Victoria Railway Station. From Piccadilly Railway Station it is a bit of a treck with bags - and a taxi is a better plan if you have much to carry. Its easy enough to get to by car which ever direction your coming from.
Parking: there is a big secure outdoor carpark next door (£3 per day if you are staying at the Travelodge).
Location: its not really in the city centre but its walk-able. The Arena is a 5-10 minute walk.
Rooms: The rooms were getting renovated and I got one of the new rooms - it was compact and simple buf fab, clean, lovely bed and a clean pleasant new shower.
Service & Staff: they were always friendly, helpful. I remember seeing them taking great lengths to explain to a young couple where to go to see the sights and how to get about.
OVERALL: Its a no frills place - but it ticks all the boxes and is clean, pleasant and over-all a nice experience to stay at.
