Stayed here for one night whilst visiting an old friend. On check-in, the receptionist who greeted me was courteous, friendly and professional. My room wasn't quite ready so I was provided with a complimentary drink of my choice whilst I waited. The room itself was immaculate and sparkling clean. The decor was beautiful, the linen crisp and fresh, and the bathroom with drench shower big enough for two (unfortunately I wasn't there for 'that'). Even the complimentary toiletries were of a high standard. Due to my work, I stay in hotels a lot, but have never written a review before. I felt compelled to write one this time. This hotel really sets the bar high for competitors in the area. Okay, so I spoiled myself by having a one bedroom Pennine Suite on the top floor (14th), but at the advanced rates on the Radisson website, it was a real bargain. It had a sheltered balcony with views of the city, a fridge with complimentary water (still and sparkling), a Nespresso machine with coffee pods, a selection of teas, a kettle, a stocked ice bucket... I could go on and on. Everything was perfect from the moment I checked in until the moment I left. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. If you are staying in Manchester, don't even look elsewhere, just stay here. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: The Pennine Suites (at the advanced rate) are excellent value, would be great for a couples weekend...

A great location in Manchester and a great b&b rate for a sunday night. Modern, spacious and elegant. Checkin staff were excellent and friendly, no wait. I got upgraded to a City View room which was a nice touch. The room is everything I want when on business, Sleek, spacious, internet, large plasma, funky wet room, comfy double bed.

The only thing that didn't quite work was the wine bar. Nice bar, good wines but no nice bar snacks to compliment the wine. Only sandwiches or popcorn.

Also room service completely forgot my order and took over 1 hour but mistakes happen.

Room Tip: High floor - City view

This was our second visit to the Radisson Blu Edwardian in Manchester City Centre and we could not fault it. The room was excellent with every amenity. I recommend room 501 because it is quiet, south-facing and spacious.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Radisson for a short break of 2 nights. It was post a business trip so we wanted something nice and relaxing and got exactly what we wanted and more. The Raddison is a very good property with some of the nicest rooms available in the UK. It is well located and close to all major transport hubs and services. On the down side, the breakfast was average and there seems to be perpetual issues with the lifts. I also found the gym equipment very old and outdated, they need to invest in quality Technogym or Life Fitness gear along the lines of other 5-star establishments but I am really being picky now. On the positive side, the service was flawless and polite, the room exceptional, the indoor swimming pool a real treat and the overall feel of the hotel very upmarket. They also have a nice bar adjoining the lobby which was great for pre-dinner drinks. If you are looking for an upmarket establishment in Manchester for work or pleasure, I would look no further than the Raddison.

I stayed for 5 nights in early September for a business trip. I found the staff very friendly and help full, the hotel was immaculately clean and the rooms were well appointed, modernly decorated and furnished. The food was 1st class in both the main dining restaurant and the bar both serving the same menu each evening. The gym was small but adequately equipped & the pool was of a decent size, all was very clean and well staffed. The only negative was that although the wifi was free, the reception in my room was not great. However, all in all my stay was very comfortable with all my needs met and I would definitely recommend the hotel if you are after a touch of luxury in the centre of Manchester.

Gorgeous hotel, loved staying here initially after being given the card to our room we walked in to find it already occupied! Other than that we were quickly settled into another room and had a fantastic night out in Manchester and a lovely nights stay. Clean, comfy, great location loved it.
