I took my mother to this five star hotel for a treat, whislt going to see Jesus Christ Superstar at the MEN.This hotel is very slick and has been refurbished to an excellent if somewhat bland standard. The rooms we had were really well put together and thought out.We had one basic twin with excellent wet room, bath and wash basin area and I had room 1212 which is a junior suite, which has the same basic layout as a basic room with the addition of a sitting room area and terrace and patio on the side.It was a nice upgrade. This hotel has all the expected amenities of a five star hotel and I would stay again on a rate.It is situated just off Deansgate and it is easy to walk to both the MEN and shopping areas from this hotel.
Better than your average corporate hotel! but definately not boutique.

Room Tip: Room 1212 was great if you want a bit more space, with a bit of entertaining space.

Very nice hotel, service excellent, food very good. Well appointed room although ours was a little warm. Sink area should have a door as you were seen by your occupant which was a little strange. Shower area and toilet was behind a door. Made use of the spa and had an excellent massage. Afternoon tea was to die for! Good location, shops and restaurants were 10 mins walk away. Thank you to all the lovely locals who showed us the right way when we were looking lost! Would go back to Manchester and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this very stylish & cool hotel on sat 7th October.

The staff were attentive and charming.

At one point I didn't realise the lift was on the floor I wanted and kept pressing the button, thus not allowing the lift to leave the floor. When I released that I was I got in the lift , there was another disgruntled couple & a maintenance man, in an attempted to lighten the mood I thanked the lift for waiting for me, the couple were not impressed but the maintenance man found it funny & was cool.

On the same night marina & the diamonds were staying there so that was something different. (Pop act from uk).

Overall I would 100% return to the hotel.

Thanks.

I'm biased as I stay here quite a bit for work. Great location, lovely well equipped room, friendly helpful staff, decent bar and restaurant. I've even used the spa.

If I had one gripe it's that the beds are a bit on the firm side but I feel I'm splitting hairs now. Go and try for yourself.

Hard to fault this one. Excellent hotel with everything that you would come to expect from a top Radisson. The hotel retains the old facade of the building hiding its modern interior.

Great room (mine looked into the atrium), modern, well appointed with high quality furnishings throughout. Plenty of space wher you could work, relax, stretch out and watch TV.

The bathroom had both a bath and a shower - a blessing for those like me who are not keen on showers in baths and having to hurdle the side of the bath ... The bath/ shower area was separate and private.

The colour scheme is that understated northern European (which I like).

Nice bar and restaurant, low lit.

If I had one minor negative, and it is minor, it would be that the public areas through the colour and the lighting were perhaps a little cool, not in the Uber Cool of chic but in the sense of lacking a bit of warmth.

Room Tip: Enjoy - suspect there aren't bad ones

By far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in made extra special by the excellent service provided by all of the hotel staff who were more then helpful accommodating all of our needs and going that extra mile to provide great customer service. The room's are a good size and modern, the bed is comfortable and in particular the bathroom/washroom layout was both stylish and practical, definately my favourite feature of the room! The hotel is situated in an ideal central location close to the local shops, bars and clubs so travel is not a great concern and with the Bar Opus restaurant and spa the hotel offers everything to make your stay that little bit more luxurious! Thanks for a wonderful stay, we look forward to returning!

Stayed in the hotel for one night on business. Rally couldn't fault the place. The rooms are modern and very well laid out. The TV is great and the bed is comfortable. I didn't sleep at all, but it wasn't the hotels fault, just one of those nights!

The staff were really great, every time I came to reception if there was a queue other people just seemed to appear! Never had to wait.

I have no idea about value as I didn't book or pay for it. But I really recommend the hotel.

We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good, another huge recommendation.
