Just been to Manchester and sampled the Radisson Blu there located in Peter Street. From the moment you enter into the hotel you know you are in a quite plush hotel. The staff are professional and helpful. The overall atmosphere is relative luxury. A good feature of the hotel is security, since the lifts are operated using your room card and doors giving access to the bedroom corridors are also opened with the magentic room card. Regarding my room, this was also very well-equipped, modern and spacious. So far, so good. However, the bed sheets had some sort of black stains on them, the window blinds were damaged and the room's safe box was broken. Added to this was the toilet roll holder that fell off the wall on the first day. The staff did repair that though. Overall, the aforementioned points hinted at slight neglect, which is a pity for a hotel that is positioned in the upper end of the market. Regarding the location, this is great, very close to the metro (2 stops from the station) and within walking distance of Manchester cathedral.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Blu Edwardian. The views are fantastic and the room was beautiful, spacious and sparkling clean it included everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel, a huge and very comfy bed, great toiletries, free wi-fi, good mini bar etc.
The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful throughout the hotel. I've heard great things about the restaurants in the hotel but chose to try the room service, I asked for a side dish that wasn't on the menu and they were more than happy to accomodate my fussy eating! The food was delicious, top restaurant quality food and good breakfast too.
The spa is excellent, I particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The relaxation room is great too!

Room Tip: Great views from the higher floors.

Just back from a 2 night break in The Radisson in Manchester. I really cannot say enough about this hotel. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the trip was amazing. The staff are so so hekpful without being over the top and in your face. We requested a late check out as we had a 9pm flight and we were told our check out time had been extended to 8pm! Never before have i seen this happen in any hotel. I was really impressed! Hotel facilities are fantastic and would definitely recommend a trip to the pool, sauna & steam room. Beds and rooms were perfect and really couldn't make 1 complaint about the whole experience. That's very rare! Most definitely will be going back.....

I visited the Radisson on Monday for afternoon tea with a friend who was visiting from Australia.

The service and afternoon tea was of an extremely high standard and Garry the manager was particularly friendly and welcoming.

Delicious, great value afternoon tea served by lovely staff in genteel surroundings. I am looking forward to going back!

I make no secret I'm a lover of the Radisson Blu Manchester model , the high bar they set regards first class all round service is infectious!

I recently celebrated my birthday on the 15th of February with another large dollop of self indulgence at this Hotel . Stefan Rae the Customer Service Manager who I now class as a close friend did not hold back on the special touches to deliver a VIP experience I will not forget in a hurry !!

The team with a capital T delivered once more , this shining light of a home from home truly is a rare gem of a find ! Gary & Stuart Concierge have every possible contact you could need , even some you wouldn't think exist and nothing to much trouble !!

George and his front of house team function in sometime hectic but controlled fashion at high volume periods like any hotel , but there professionalism and due courtesy really is to be admired .

The cocktail bar table service in the champagne bar a real treat and what I think very reasonable prices for a 5 star establishment . The cocktails themselves at £10 a shout fantastic value when considering made from scratch with fresh ingredients .

The important bed for the night as comfy as ever and found deep peaceful sleep once more . The added touch of breakfast in bed a true treat and will experience again!

The overall experience first class and my only worry us this hotel is very popular and increasingly harder to gain reservations !

Note to Stefan please expand or extend quickly , the secret is out on this ever improving truly advertised 5 star hotel !!!
