We stayed in the hotel with the kids, the concierge service is excellent, the guys at the front desk too, location is excellent close to the central station, shopping and restaurants, ALTO restaurant for breakfast is great but service for dinner is terrible.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night and we're very impressed with the decor, food and very attentive staff. The 10th floor room had a great view overlooking the city and was very clean and tidy. The bar in the evening had a great atmosphere and lighting and I can also firmly recommend the steak and lobster restaurant for your evening meal. The steak was fantastic and very reasonably priced with very friendly and attentive staff. The one downside to the trip was breakfast which, although very good, was exceptionally overpriced ( more costly than our evening meal the night before! ). I would definitely stay here again but would avoid the costly breakfast.

We have recently stayed for two nights at this hotel. We had a fabulous time! On arrival the service was 5*. I asked for an early check in and it was no problem.

The room was amazing! So spacious, modern and extremely clean! There was everything you would need including a hair dryer, mini-bar, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and a huge TV which my husband was very pleased with! The king size bed was so comfy!

We had lunch on the first day which was delicious and on the second day we had afternoon tea in the Opus restaurant/bar which was amazing.

We would like to give a special thank you to Scott and Mark who looked after us in the Opus bar. They chatted to us and made us feel so welcome. I hope their hard work is recognised.

Have just returned from a Friday night stay. Loved the hotel. Plenty going on. Really good atmosphere. Very pleasant Juan Carlos on reception. Room on 12th floor with amazing city view. Spacious and comfortable. Very quiet (which is essential for me). Breakfast in the morning was good quality and very enjoyable. Really nice yoghurts and delicious fresh fruits together with good quality bacon and sausages. The hotel itself is in a great location. Have stayed at 5* hotels in Manchester but would not hesitate to stay here again! Great value and we got a £15 drinks voucher to use in the bar.

Room Tip: 12th floor rooms very quiet

My partner and I had a one-night stay here and were both very impressed with the hotel. Our room was spotless and had everything we could have faked for, including a fabulous bathroom, enormous and incredibly comfortable bed and great 14th floor views of the city. We enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks at the hotel's Steak and Lobster restaurant where the waiting staff were attentive and friendly and our meal was delicious. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends visiting Manchester got a city break.
