An excellent hotel, with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. A comprehensive restaurant and superb breakfast. The staff were friendly and delightful. This and That is a restaurant with a choice of lobster or T bone steak and is a brilliant idea

This hotel has been our base each time we have visited Manchester. It is a beautiful hotel which has clearly put a lot of thought into the design because it is in such an iconic building. The rooms are spacious and modern (with our suite having an ipod which allowed us to stream music to the room's speakers). Breakfast was very nice with a decent selection for my wife who is gluten free. All of the staff were very helpful and even unlocked a side door to make getting our luggage in much easier (we arrived around 11:30pm with 3 very sleepy children so just getting up to our room was a priority!).

Room Tip: Views from the top floor of the city are amazing!

The Radisson Blue in Manchester city centre is in an iconic building - and they make the most of it! Very impressive foyer, luxurious and extremely comfortable rooms, and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever experienced. And big fluffy towels in the bathroom! The warmth of the Manchester welcome was everything you'd hope for, and al staff clearly take a great pride in the hotel. Definitely my first choice next time I'm in Manchester. On this occasion I was on business and it did make the trip feel special.

Excellent hotel friendly helpful staff breakfast very good, ate in opus one restaurant was ok nothing special would try the steak and lobster first another time. No parking but found nearest car park easily might be expensive for a longer stay at £18 for a night.

I stayed here with my daughter during a recent trip to shop and see some of the attractions in Manchester.
The location is fantastic. Very close to the Metrolink Station at St Peters Square and easy walking distance to the shops/restaurants etc and the Coronation Street tour!
Check in was very quick and easy and the man on the front desk was very pleasant.
We booked a twin room and this was ample in size. Complimentary bottles of water. Nice toiletries, bath robes, good shower. Good wifi. Fully stocked mini bar available too. The air conditioning was very noisy when on full. A turn down service is offered ( I got a slight shock when the lady opened our door, didn't hear a knock), but we declined. Beds very comfortable.
The swimming pool is lovely.
Breakfast was ok. Nan who showed us to tables not overly pleasant. Had to stop a waitress to ask for coffee, eggs and toast as we had been sat for quite a while with no one asking us if we'd like any. Really dislike the table layout. The tables (for two) are so close to the ones next to them it just feels plain awkward, especially as one person is left facing the wall. I do think the layout should be better thought out. I'm not sure if this is a Radisson thing as it's the same in others I have stayed at.
Would stay here again. Just a shame the breakfast didn't feel like part of the 5 star experience.

Dear TrollyDolly76,

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review of the hotel, I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. I am surprised to hear that you didn't like our breakfast service as we have recently won an award for our buffet and a la carte offerings. In the new year we are making some exciting changes to the hotel so I am sure our new additions will benefit the comments you make regarding breakfast table arrangments.
I hope that you will return to us soon and thank you once again for your kind review.

Regards

Great hotel for a business stay. Staff were very friendly - check in /out was super smooth.
Loved my room - was clean, very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. Was a little noisy in the morning however - thin walls - heard the couple next door discussing what they were going to wear that day!
Breakfast was good, although nothing spectacular. Fine for a business stay, if I was a tourist I might have expected more.
