stayed at this hotel in november, from walking through the door to leaving nothing was to much trouble, the staff were some of the nicest i have ever met, the rooms were clean and tidy, thought the bar prices and breakfast was expensive, but it was the best breakfast i have ever had, there was a good choice, all local produce i believe , it was excellent, would defenetly return.

Every year in late November we holiday in a city, usually in Europe, for our wedding anniversary, this was our 39th. We are not easy guests, as we expect everything to be spot on. We usually make some allowance for a city centre hotel due to their business orientation. In this case we were pleasantly suprised in EVERY aspect. Over and above the total cleanliness, it was obvious all the staff were friendly to each other, without which you don't really get friendliness to the guests (service without servility!). Staff remembered guests, and overall the atmosphere was more of a top class country family hotel than part of a large chain.

Travelled down with my daughter from Scotland to see Taylor Swift perform at the MEN Arena. Hotel was well located for railway station, arena and shops. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by Stephan, the Front Desk Manager. He was very helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic. I had booked room only but Stephan provided us with Full breakfast discount vouchers. The next morning, they didnt even charge for my daughter. We ate in the Alto restaurant 3 times. The menu was varied, reasonable priced and again, the service was impeccable. We used the spa twice. Mel and her team there were attentive and even organised a comb for us late in the day as I had forogtten ours. We virtually had the pool to ourselves. The changing facilities were very clean, modern and well equipped as was our room. The only negative aspect was the lift which was supposed to take us directly to the Spa. It didnt work properly, therefore we had to take a lift to the reception and then dash down the stairs to the floor below. This was a bit embarassing as we were wearing our robes at the time and the lift doors opened out in full view of men in suits sitting in the bar. Was quite funny I suppose. Will be travelling down to London with my family in December and will definately seek to book a Radisson Edwardian hotel again.

Stayed here for one night on a Xmas shopping trip with a group of friends. Shared a double room with my daughter. Room very comfortable, nice dressing/vanity area leading to bathroom. Lovely poweful shower, bed very comfortable and quite a large spacious room.
Breakfast not included, but booked night before and got for half price, lovely breakfast with lots of choice.
Nice restaurant which we had lunch in and good bar which we came back and had cocktails in. Drinks a bit pricey, but typical of a city hotel.
Next day we came back to restaurant area and sat down for a glass of wine. had to wait a while, table wasnt cleaned and ended upgoing to bar myself, head waiter, who had seated us day before saw what happened and came over and served our drinks which he gave us complimentary for having to wait, which I thought was a nice touch.
