“Hidden, but worth finding!”
Reviewed 29 December 2012

We only found this restaurant a few weeks ago and decided it wouldn't be long before we called in. It is very well hidden, and although the address is Cross Street, you have to pop round the corner into Bow Street for the entrance. We called in for Saturday lunch, arriving at opening time, bang on 12, after a good morning at the Sales! The welcome was friendly, although as we were the first to arrive, I was suprised to be tucked into a corner adjacent to the toilets and underneath the speakers. We each had the Corn Bake which was served with a lovely tomato salad and we had spicy chips with it (had to be done!!). The food was delightful and we will be very happy to visit again. I had the house red wine, which frankly, was not very good (but not awful) and rather let the restaurant down. My OH had Sol lager. The overall impression of the restaurant was very good, especially for an evening event. The menu is sufficiently varied so that everyone should find something they liked, and I bet it's great fun when the restaurant is full in the evening. Sadly, the restaurant was as full when we left as when we arrived; we have never been the only ones in a restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime before!!! But we'll be back, even if it is for a solitary lunch! Or perhaps, dear Reader, you'll be there too.

Reviewed 9 December 2012

Found the restaurant by accident , what a find excellent food and very helpfull and efficient staff. The menu offered a wide variety of Chilian food I had the fish soup and fish bake both excellent.

Would definitely recommend the restaurant but may have to book next time as can see the place becoming very popular.

“Great Chilean Cuisene”
Reviewed 2 December 2012

Stumbled on this restaurant on Bow Street! It is hard to find but well worth the effort! Offers a range of authentic chilean cuisie. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend the Scallops as a starter as they are amazing! The main course was very tasty with Lamb and chicken cooked to perfection. We also forced a final liqueur coffee down before paying a reasonable final bill! This restaraunt is well worth a visit and you will not be disappointed!

“Something Different”
Reviewed 27 November 2012

We thought we would try this restaurant as Chilean food is something different for us. The restaurant has an authentic feel about it and the staff are originally from Santiago. Our waiter was really friendly and helped us with recommendations. We had Chicken Empanadas and Sopa Di Marisco to start and Lamb Stew and Pollo Santiagio for mains. All four dishes were exceptionally tasty. We also had a delicious Chilean Savignon Blanc to drink. Would highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back!

“Nowhere near as good ad when it was called Leonis”
Reviewed 21 November 2012 via mobile

I have been eating here for many years when it was called Leonis. It's the same staff with a name change!! Leonis had an extensive and excellent menu. Santiago has a very limited menu with average quality food at a high price. Some changes are not for the best !!
