Delicious, tasty and well presented tapas. Attentive staff, and a beautiful environment that takes you immediately to a trip to Spain. Lovely place. Everything offered on the menu is completely great. Keep up the good work chicos, qué buen sitio! Gracias!

This tiny little unassuming tapas restaurant in the middle of Chorlton has to be the best tapas I have eaten outside of Spain.

Yes, we had to wait about 30 minutes to get a table to eat but it was well worth the wait, we sat outside with a beer and they came to get us as soon as our table was ready.

Do not take any note of the bad reviews I have read them and they are nonsense and written by 'fun sponges', they just don't get it !! The reason there is a long wait and that the waiters don't have much time for a lot of chat is because they are getting the delicious food orders out from the kitchen. Still, I would say the service was bang on with the atmosphere was class.

The food..........oh the FOOD !! Some of the finest most succulent beef cheeks I have ever eaten. King prawns wrapped in ham with a mouth watering crust to die for. Olives that tasted out of this world (what on earth did they season them with?). I would chop off a limb for the recipe of the pork ribs and Bechamel Croquettes. As a group of friends we ordered about 15 dishes and they were all divine, I cannot knock any of the dishes.

Bar San Juan, keep up the good work. I will be visiting again very soon!

We've been trying to eat here forever but it's always so busy with long waits for a table. Yesterday we finally made it for my husbands 30th and it didn't disappoint!!!

We ordered a load of dishes between us and literally everything was fantastic. The fillet steak and beef cheeks were particular highlights, and the deep fried béchamel, and the ribs! I could go on....

Great setting feels like an authentic tapas restaurant in Spain and lovely ambience. Most dishes around £6ish (some more and some less) makes it good value for money.

We will certainly return!

My thoughts on this Restaurant are essentially in my title -its only a small bar, but very warm with a really nice atmosphere. This bar has a real Spanish feel about it - I've been to many Tapas Bars in Manchester La Vina, Evuna, La Bandera, Tapeo, and while all of these restaurants serve nice food, i think Bar San Juan tops the list as a whole. As i said it has a very rustic, simple, Spanish feel about the place. The Tapas are excellent, service friendly and efficient and the beer and wine are good too. I feel many of the Tapas bars in manchester are trying to go too 'upmarket' and as such are losing what i would describe as real authentic Spanish food and most importantly that atmosphere you feel when your in Spain

I've never been the biggest fan of Tapas but this place certainly changed my mind. We went for a friend's birthday. The place is tiny and was bustling. The beef cheeks had been recommended and they didn't disappoint, they were out of this world. I tried to any things to list but they were all delicious. I will be back
