Booked the Corrie Tour in advance and were looking forward to a good day out. We weren't disappointed! Myself and three daughters along with my sister and two daughters booked the train north to visit the Coronation Street set and had an absolutely brilliant day. You get a guided tour behind the scenes of Coronation Street, seeing the costume department, makeup department and various other behind the scenes at Granada. The last leg of the tour is coming through the doors of Nicks Bistro onto The Street. Its very strange seeing The Cabin, Devs, The Rovers, Audreys, the Doctors Surgery, Street Cars and the Kebab shop and all the houses on The Street in front of you. We had a great time taking lots of pictures and just enjoying being on The Street! You can have a professional picture taken behind the Bar at the Rovers which we did. The Doctors Surgery is transformed into a shop selling tea towels, mugs, placemats and other gifts which relate to The Street and you can view and buy your Rovers picture here. Lots of gifts available to buy although we only bought the Corrie mugs. Definitely worth a visit and we had a great day here. If your a Corrie fan you should go as this tour lasts only til Christmas I believe.
