“Super Value”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

We were so lucky to get a room on the 11th floor - wow! The views over Manchester were stunning. Lovely room. Really clean and quiet - all I would expect from a Premier Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Try and get a room at the top!

Thank you on your recent comments on your great value stay at the hotel.

Lovely to see you had the delight of our higher floor rooms. They really do have a fantastic view of the city which is very refreshing to wake up too on a morning.

We look forward to seeing you next time you visit Manchester!

The hotel is situated in a quiet area of the city but only a short walk from Manchester China town and some great shopping and eating houses. Our room was probably the best we have stayed in of any Premier Inn, and we have stayed in a few. The room was quiet and immaculately clean. Staff were very pleasant and took a keen interest in what we were doing for our stay. offering constructive help where appropriate. We will certainly be staying in this hotel should we be visiting Manchester again in future. Please take note that while car parking facilities are very close by (just across the road), the price, even with discount, to stay 2 nights was £17.

Thank you for your comments on your recent stay in Manchester.

Fantastic to see that we offered a peaceful stay and everything you needed was within a short distance to the hotel. The staff are fantastic to work with, I learn something new everyday by working with them. There knowledge of the city helps you explore the delights of Manchester at its best.

Thank you for your kind words to the team and it will be a pleasure to feed your comments back to them.

An excellent location being Very only a few minutes away from Piccadilly station and another five to the shops, leave the station by the main exit, walk straight and take a right at Ducie Street then the next left and your there. The reception was well organised and the staff friendly. It does have a touch screen check in but I was sent an email to check in prior to arrival and that saves time. The hotel was spotless and all staff very helpful. The breakfast was excellent value and again the young gent who showed us to the table and explained about what was available was very welcoming. Overall I can not fault my stay and well done all the Premier Inn staff.

The bad first. Having booked a twin we expected 2 proper beds not the normal double and a made-up settee. It took 2 calls to reception to get a second set of towels. Not a good start. Coming and going from the hotel you have to negotiate the smokers lined up outside and all the butts if the sweeping hasn't been done. Now for the good. The room, basically furnished with no clock or tissues, was spotless with a shower over the bath. The location close to Piccadilly station for the airport train and free inner city loop buses was very handy. The breakfast buffet was very good with some items prepared to order eg an omelette.

Thank you so much for your recent comments on the hotel.

Fantastic to see you enjoyed our location and breakfast. The team work extremely hard to keep the hotel fresh as the day we opened.

The layout of a twin room may vary by hotel, and will either consist of a double bed (in most hotels) and a sofabed as within terms and conditions of booking. It is advisable to check with your location if you do need certain requirements and we can certainly point you in the right direction.

Apologies for the delay in your towels to your room and will certainly look into why this happened as well as passing your well comments to the team.

We hope to see you again in Manchester soon!

The hotel is situated just a couple of minutes walk from Piccadilly Station which made it the perfect location for our one night stay arriving at Manchester Airport and traveling back to London via train the next day.

Checking in is always easy when arriving at a Premier Inn hotel. I just love the self check-in option! We were however not greeted by the staff upon arrival but I guess they were up to something more important at the time.

We had booked a double room but was pleasantly surprised when we realized that we had been upgraded to a family room. The room is definitely the most spacious Premier Inn room we have ever had the pleasure of staying at and we have visited a lot of them over the years. It is your typical Premier Inn room with the same decor as other hotels but you can clearly see, especially in the bathroom, that this is a new and modern hotel. As usual everything was spotlessly clean.

It took us about 10 minutes to walk to Market St however there is always the possibility of taking the tram which will get you there in no time.

If there is one thing I could wish for I would want the Wi-Fi to be free or at least to be able to use all my devices when paying for unlimited 1 day usage.

Despite that we will definitely consider this hotel the next time we pay a visit to Manchester.

Room Tip: We had a room at the 9th floor facing the main road but did not hear any noise from the traffic outs...

Thank you for your comments to the hotel.

Great to see our location suited your needs for your stay. The team do an excellent job at keeping the hotel fresh and clean. The check in machines are fantastic to help queue management but doesn't stop that welcome form the time. I am sorry on this occasion we seem to have not had reception manned.

We hope to see you in Manchester in the future!

So very impressed with this Premier Inn.
The receptionist was very friendly, efficient and helpful. The room (602) was spotless and a decent size.

I didn't eat dinner but did have breakfast, buffet style, all food looked very fresh and plenty of choice. The waitress (Sammi) was so polite and friendly for early in the morning!

This hotel is well positioned for Piccadilly and Central Manchester. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it. I do a lot of travelling for work and so on my own, in this hotel I felt very safe as a lone women traveller.
