Being only a year or so old means that it's well sound proofed, with air conditioning and phones in the bedrooms.
Spread over 11 floors, there are some great views across the city to be had. Rooms are quite high ceilinged and spacious, with good beds as per all Premier Inns.
Staff efficient and helpful, and very willing to advise on where to go in the city centre.
We ate out for breakfast - there's a great café just across the road and another a short walk along Ducie Street, heading away from Piccadilly - both much better value than the £8.75 per head for breakfast in the hotel; a shame Premier Inn are getting greedy!
