A variety of rooms are available and all seem reasonably priced. The check-in/out and breakfast staff were friendly and efficient, and the entire hotel appeared clean and well cared for as it should be being so new!

The rooms were small as expected but very well organised so appear bigger and are certainly good enough. The shower opens directly into the sleeping area so creating a better sense of space. With the window closed there is no traffic noise heard at all, despite the location on the busy inner ringroad. The bed was wonderfully comfortable.

There isn't even a kettle in the room (it's a budget Ibis so no frills at all) but there is a machine in the lobby, as well as a snack machine. I stayed one night and it wasn't an issue and I would happily return here, but if I were staying longer than a couple of nights or with children I would consider somewhere with a kettle and perhaps refrigeration facilities, maybe a more pricey hotel or a self catering apartment.

The area is good, very handy for the Northern Quarter and for Piccadilly and the city centre as a whole. It's a short and scenic walk along the Ashton canal to pretty much everywhere you may want to go. I thoroughly recommend the independent (and licensed) café on the next block - sitting on the canal with delicious cakes was bliss.

I stayed at Ibis at Polard Street for 6 days, service of hotel staff appreciable. Breakfast offered average, but okay for a quick bite. Cleaning condition, consumable provided were good. Air, lighting, television, internet wifi were satisfactory.

Fantastic value-pretty much what you'd pay for a private hostel room BUT it's def a hotel. However I like that the lobby has a communal feel with TV/internet/wifi and a microwave foody area)
The room was just perfect-so clean/funky lighting/hangers/hooks/fluffy white towels. The shower was AMAZING as it was a 'disco' LED one...hours of fun!
I didn't eat there but that all looks good too with a buffet breakfast not included but there's a nice coffee shop/cafe nearby.
I genuinely looked forward to coming 'home' each night and would def stay there again. You're not 'in' the city centre just a ten min 'lonely' walk to the train station but I walked everywhere and late at night and felt completely safe. SUCH good value...oh the only downside was the plastic bed protector..yuk!

Got a family room for 3 adults. Two doubles (one sofa bed) and a single bunk. Great value. Nearby parking £3 for 24 hours. Walked to the Northern Quarter/Piccadilly, ten minutes. Got taxi back to hotel from Northern Quarter just before midnight, £3.50. Great night, great stay at Ibis. Would recommend and use again.

It's basic, quiet, clean and totally satisfied our needs.

We were there in July 2013 and some road work was being carried out right in front of the hotel but no noise can be heard from the hotel. This hotel has no long term parking but plenty of parking space just across the road behind the condos at a cost of GBP2 per 24 hours.

The front desk staff is not especially friendly when we asked for direction to the city and it is quite a walk from the hotel to the city centre easily 15-20 minutes.

At a rate of GBP33 per night, we are not complaining at all.

Many thanks for leaving feedback on your recent stay. I am very pleased to hear you felt your stay was value for money, although I was surprised to hear you thought the staff were unfriendly, as they receive a lot of positive comments on the serice they offer.
I hope that you will consider us again as the team and I would love to welcome you back.
Thanks once again.
