Booked this restaurant a few hours before we arrived thinking they wouldn't be able to fit us in as it was a table for 10, they did. So glad we went, service was excellent, food was excellent and the surroundings were modern. Couldn't fault it, will definitely return again, well done Spice Lounge?

I visited the restaurant early evening on a Thursday after reading other reviews here on Trip Advisor, looking for an Indian restaurant in central(ish) Manchester. Its located adjacent to the Manchester Printworks and is just around the corner from the Arndale so provides a great city centre alternative to travelling down to Rusholme.
There's a warm welcome from the staff when you visit and a huge interior, air-conditioned for comfort (ideal on this hot summer day). The menu is quite diverse as well as providing the classics. Himalayan dishes feature prominently on the menu and give you a real alternative to the usual choices. (You can download the full menu from their website as well as the wine list and drink choices.) There were no dishes marked gluten free or gluten friendly (some were marked for nut allergies) so you'd need to make that clear when ordering.
All the staff were friendly and attentive and were happy to give us a break between our starters and main course when I asked them.

Well laid out restaurant and Nice Ambiance. White table cloth and good service
The food was good and certainly typical of what you can expect and want from a good curry house in England
