Definitely the smallest "Deluxe" room we have ever stayed in, but it was well decked out & clean. When we booked, we never realised Canal St. is the "gay" area of Manchester, but it's a vibrant area & we had a laugh in the local bars.
It's a small hotel, with just a reception & stairs leading to your room, you have to go around the corner for breakfast, at the local "deli" but the food is very good.
Probably a little more on the expensive side, but we liked it, as the bars/restaurants are right outside the front door.

Room Tip: The Italian restaurant next door (Villaggio's) is very good

Arrived to a warm welcome from Carl, nice bottle of wine and lovely chocolate muffins! Friday in the gay village, my husband and I were expecting a sleepless night, we were wrong, we were not disturbed at all. Clean, convienient and welcoming. What more could you need. Breakfast is at the Olive deli just round the corner, it was very tasty. Will definately be back.

Dear Guest.

I would like to thank you for your time for writing a review for Le Ville Hotel, your points are valid, our location is very central and we are close to every attraction in Manchester whether its business or pleasure.

As you have also mentioned Car parking in city centre is a little more expensive than other parts of the city, however we do provide our guests with a discount ticket for the NCP car park on Chorlton street, which is withing close proximity of the hotel.

Once again, I would like to thank you for your time and review and please don't forget to book your room directly next time via telephone or our website to receive your complementary bottle of wine up-on check-in.

The welcome is efficient and friendly, the rooms are clean & the beds are comfortable. (Room 11)
There no disturbance from the street outside (Canal Street). You were given a complimentary Muffin as you checked. All in all, a lovely stay. My only 'bug-bear' is the fact that breakfast is not on site and you have to go to a restaurant called Olive, admittedly only a short walk away.
Other than that, we would stay here again.

My friend's train had been delayed, and it turned out she'd have missed her connection, so we looked for somewhere to stay in Manchester. This was actually recommended by the good folk at Holiday Inn, who gave us free toothbrushes as since the stay was impromptu neither of us had packed. Anyway we arrived at Canal Street weathered and weary, and were greeted by receptionist Carl, who was extremely friendly, sympathetic and helpful. He gave us a free bottle of red wine, and informed us of the complimentary Wi-Fi, and breakfast at Olive deli over the bridge, breakfast was served anytime between 7am and 4pm (AMAZING!!! as was the full English we enjoyed the next morning) The room itself was compact, but ideal for our purposes and at £50 a night wasn't anything we could grumble at, it had large wall mounted TV and ensuite toilet and shower. The morning receptionists were just as friendly and accommodating as Carl had been the previous night. Thoroughly recommended and would definitely return. Only another 4 stays before I get my free one! ;)

Room Tip: We had a basement room, just below Canal Street, and considering it was a Friday night in the middle...

Cant speak highly enough of this hotel. My train was cancelled and I got a booking here. Front desk (carl) was fantastic and very helpful. The room was cool - we were right at front downstairs and I thought it would be really loud but they've designed the rooms really cleverly and we got a good nights sleep. Top marks. Great array of free toiletries. Location was fabulous. 2 mins from metro/train station (oxford road). The included breakfast was of a great standard in a lush little deli across the canal. The choice was brilliant. I would 100% stay here again and would totally recommend if you were heading to manchester for drinks or shopping. Thanks guys!

Very disappointed not as illustrated on the web site. Very run down & dirty part of town not suitable for a single mature female. Small dark rooms very close to the next room so you could hear all the goings on. The only redeeming feature for this hotel was it was clean. Would not recommend this hotel
