We went to the Boundary as a family with friends (8 of us) and could not fault anything about the place. We were taken straight to a table and our drinks order was taken straight away. We wasn't rushed in any kind of way to order like some places that you eat at. The food was absolutely gorgeous, I ordered steak and it was done to perfection in fact I would say the steak was the best I have ever had (even better than my own and I am a pretty good cook). We had a starters, main course and desert. My Children, who are really picky eaters, finished off the lot without even a grumble which is a first for them... if only I could go every mealtime! The service was absolutely fantastic, the plates were cleared up quickly without being rushed to order our next course. The deserts were gorgeous. I had the apple pie which was delish!! All in all had a fantastic meal and would highly recommend to anyone wanting good food with a nice atmosphere and very reasonably prices too!! The place is a credit to the owners! :O) will definitely be be visiting again very soon!

We visited this pub/restaurant last night as a group of 7 female friends. We were immediately welcomed and shown to a table in the conservatory. We ordered from the set lunch menu (served til 6pm monday to friday) 3 of us had 3 courses and the others just 2 courses. The food was really enjoyable and plentiful. I had pate as a starter and this was served with plenty of toast, onion marmalade and salad the others had soup which was homemade and served with a lovely bread. 6 of us then had minute steak, fries and salad the other had battered cod, chips and mushy peas, this was 2 huge pieces of battered cod freshly cooked. For dessert 2 of us had shortbread with apricot cream, one had sticky toffee pudding with custard and 2 had chocolate cheesecake, the portions were huge!! We all agreed that this was one place we would be visiting again.

Ordered drinks and the person, then left us and got another person to serve us, the drinks took far too long to come to the table, ordered homemade apple, which we were told was homemade, (later found out that it wasn't the case), it was awful, the apple was cold, the pastry was yuck too, the chocolate brownie was dry, came with custard, when ordered with ice cream, the sticky toffee pudding was too rich, the only thing ok, were the coffee's when they eventually arrived and the lemonade. Poor customer service all round, not even asked was everything ok, suffice to say, did not pay. I would not go back again. The puddings were £4.50 each, day light robbery.

This lady just ordered drinks and sweets, she made no complaint to any member of staff, left with out paying and only complained when i managed to track her down. with hindsight i should have just reported the incident to the police. So much for giving people the benefit of the doubt!

Went here for a cheap family birthday lunch, and it was pretty good.

OK its not haute cuisine, but it offers decent vfm.

Would consider it again.

One word sums up this gastronomes Mecca - 'Wow'. Sat in the beautifully appointed conservatory. Parked car, entered premises, exchanged light pleasantries with the restaurant staff, chose table, sat at said table, ordered drinks, ordered food, exchanged pre-consumption pleasantries with my fellow dining companions, served food, ate food, settled bill and departed with fuller bellies than we had walked in with. Check this haunt out, quicksticks, lovely conservatory, well built, sturdy furniture, smart linen and everything one could wish for to guarantee an enchanting diversion from the stresses and strains of modern life. And. Guess what ? You don't even have to wash the dishes afterwards. It's all done for you. Marvellous. Top notch. If this place was on eBay, I'd give it five stars and say 'Top Ebayer'. Cool chips, man ! Keep up the good work, people !!!!
