“Smashing little place”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

We have wandered past this tiny cafe several times but today, feeling a bit peckish, we popped in for a bacon barm. Then we basked in the friendly buzz as a constant stream came in were swiftly served and went. Great atmosphere and value ... and the barms were good too. We will be back.

We can't believe you have wandered past our tiny café several times but today, feeling a bit peckish, we popped in for a bacon barm. Next time you can sample our full breakfast priced £3.75 or if you are really hungry you can go for the £4.95 Big Breakfast which will really satisfy your peckish feelings.

We are thankful you came in to sample our food and friendly buzz and that you experienced a quiet period as the constant stream is replaced with a more hectic stream the nearer we get to the 1pm lunchtime peak. Thanks for the review in general especially the comments about great atmosphere and value ... We must admit the barms are delivered fresh daily we look forward to you coming back to sample our homemade menu, especially our homemade chips See you soon

Great little cafe, best bacon and sausage on toast I've had in ages. Friendly staff and does what it says on the tin. I'll be back!

Like your review we pride ourselves on being up front, honest and effective in our service to the general public. We are so glad you rated our bacon and sausage on toast as the best you've had in ages, maybe next time you can try the Big Breakfast at £4.95 if you are feeling more hungry for food as well as value for money. Thank you.

Thank god for democracy but somehow I don't think you will agree, but we are surely glad you've moved to Manchester to give us such an appreciative review. You are more than welcome to try our homemade steak pie and chips again but just in case you fancy something different you may want to try our cheese and onion homemade pie, homemade lasagne, curry and chips, homemade soup or maybe just a steak Canadian sandwich. Thanks.

Being hooked on our burgers means you will be missing out on our chips, homemade cheese and onion or steak and onion pies, lasagne, curry, soup, steak Canadian and tuna melts. So hopefully you will visit again and try one of our other popular homemade specials along with your love of our burgers. Thank you.
