Linda opened her first place 45 years ago. Unfortunately progress? means she is closing for the last time at the end of June 2018.
She serves really good food at very reasonable prices. Everything is home made and delicious. She does really good fry ups too. But the rhing that stands out are her chips. Real potatoes, peeled on the premises and freshly fried. Not vert many plces do that these days. They are delicious. You only have a few days to try them out. Don't miss.
Goodbye Linda and happy retirement.

I managed to squeeze in one last visit. I had the large breakfast as always, hash browns never my favourite item on a english breakfast but cooked well enough, tinned tomatoes, a large pile of mushrooms, baked beans, 2 big pork sausages full of flavour, 2 rashers of bacon cooked to perfection very tasty, a slice of spam very tasty, a big slice of Bury black pudding lovely, fried egg with a lovely runny yolk a slice of white buttered toast. and a big mug of coffee.

Have a extensive menu of traditional cafe favourites.

Brilliant friendly service.

A tragedy this place is closing.

I had a great Full English Breakfast here. No nonsense food but great quality and great value. Unfortunately i hear it is being forced to close in June.I presume this is due to all of the redevelopment of the area. I hope it reappears somewhere else soon.

Thank TigerTex
