Had heard a few good things about this place so decided to give it a try tonight - the night before the Manchester 10k run

For there about 645 and we were seated straight away no wait time. It was quite busy but not manic. Service was great and prompt

Opted for olives, home made lemonade, chocolate milkshake, miami burger (a special), skinny burger (no bun but with salad) fries and chips with skin on.

Olives very good
Both drinks fab
Fries ok, not very hot though
Chips with skin on excellent
Miami burger very good
Skinny burger excellent
Salad very good

The meat does make the burger cooked to medium but you can change if you want. It tasted amazing and personally I loved the skinny option

If you have been to the USA and into Johnny Rockets then this is kind of our version maybe not as cool or quite at that level - decor you may or may not like though. Distressed Chic is the official term but a bit too distressed in places.

Well worth a visit - totally £36 inc tip

The service was great. Staff were friendly and chatty. Unfortunately they were let down by the food which was very average. Apart from the chips which were excellent I found everything to be quite bland and under seasoned. With the great choice of gourmet burger choices in Manchester this just doesn't do it for me. To be honest would have been a two star review if not for the staff.

As my first visit to Byrons decided to go for the premiere Byron Burger and assumed it must be really special for over £9. First off it was cold, with one thin piece of lettuce and a soggy tomato that had no taste or structure. It was supposed to have a Byron sauce, but I got no such taste. The meat was good quality and the cheese was spot on, but overall it was a small burger that did not amount to anywhere near production.

The restaurant was interesting giving the very stylish appearance of still waiting for the builders to complete their work. Waitress very friendly and efficient. On other hand the chef walked through the restaurant and his frown was overwhelming.

Very sophisticated mugging I'd call it.

Visited a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Called in again on Sunday 11th May, early evening. Not disappointed, still serving the best food with great service. Have visited Byron in London, the one near the Google building. It was not a patch on the Manchester, Deansgate restaurant. Keep up the good work.

We ate here on a Saturday evening, arrived around 6ish and were shown straight to our table - no waiting. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful, definitely service with a smile.
The interior is lovely, quirky, retro, a bit industrial and the atmosphere was great - buzzing and lively but with a relaxed feel as well.
The menu was good, we all chose their special burger which was delicious. The burgers were moist, juicy and amongst the best burgers I have ever eaten. Nicely presented, our only problem was ordering too many sides, we ended up with far too much food.
The children's menu was also good, our son had a chicken burger which was demolished, it looked very good.
Definitely highly recommended, we will be back.
