We return to Arora because we can rely on everything being just right - comfort, quality & value for money. The Arora Manchester has a relaxed & peaceful atmosphere created by competent & efficient staff.
The hotel itself is clean & modern with efficient lifts.

Like previous reviewer our check-in was rather brusque and upon leaving the same gentleman checked us out in the same manner. Concierege was jolly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious although the TV was hideously out of date, poor picture and sound - it was too old to show some of the modern wide screen formats! In the UK you do expect freeview these days. More sugars on the coffee tray would be nice. Location is fantastic for everything, including GMEX. Adam in the bar was particularly friendly. I would stay here again owing to location and price, but tend to prefer somewhere a little more plush!

Got this hotel through an opaque booking site, and can't fault the value for money. The location is very convenient, 10 minutes' walk from Piccadilly Station, 5 from Oxford Road and 100yds rom the nearest tram stop. It's also on the edge of Chinatown, meaning there's some great food right on the doorstep.

The rooms are fine - it's been obviously recently refurbished, and well done. It's fairly reminiscent of a Premier Inn - good quality, but somewhat lacking in individuality. Soundproofing was excellent, however, particularly considering its busy city centre location.

Front desk staff were only OK - check-in was rather brusque (I was interrupted as I approached by a rather curt "Name?") and check-out was rather delayed as 4 people behind the counter seemed to be involved in validating the previous guest's parking ticket. Disappointingly, too, there was an attempt to double-charge me for a pre-paid booking.

By contrast, the concierge was excellent.

Disappointing that there was a £10 charge for internet, and that this was via cable only, at a rather uncomfortable desk.

For the price, however (ca £60), I wouldn't hesitate to return.

I searched thoroughly via TripAdvisor.com for a Manchester hotel that would be a in a walking distance from the Gay Village and would be pleasent for my staying.

From the moment I arrived, it was if everything was flawless. Rooms were clean and beautiful, beds were big and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. What else could one ask for?

Certainly, whenever I'm in Manchester, I shall choose no other hotel than Arora International!

Just to make no doubt, I am a REAL person, with no connection to this hotel whatsoever, and this comment is authentic. Anyone who has questions is more than welcome to find me on Facebook, under my name, Dany Zack, or Email me to: danyzack@netvision.net.il

It's the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are warm and friendly, the rooms are very nice and the food is excellent. The hotel is also in an excellent location. Would highly recommend it. Other hotels that I have stayed in have nothing on this hotel, we have been spoiled. Would not even consider staying anywhere else when I'm next in Manchester.

I've stayed in a few hotels in Manchester, this is one of the best. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a spacious room which despite facing the main road and on the doorstep to Chinatown was quiet. I read another review saying the sign outside didn't do the hotel justice and I would totally agree with that, don't be put off when you first arrive because the inside is well maintained and clean. The hotel doesn't have a car park but Q Park is about 2 minutes away and costs £15 for 24 hours which isn't bad for central Manchester.
