We spent three nights in Manchester at Arora. Checking in was smooth and our room was ready upon an early arrival, which was very nice. The room was nice with two Queen beds. They were on the soft side, but sleep was comfortable. the rooms were clean and cozy. The staff was excellent and helped us find a nice pub to watch football. Susan and Mike were extra friendly. There is a small exercise room with two treadmills, an eliptical and a bike. The location is very good. Walking distance from city centre, across the street from the art gallery and close to China Town and St. Peter's square.
Two issues. First, inroom wireless internet is 10 pounds for 24 hours. It is steep. second, there are no sports channels on TV. For us it was important. Generally, Many sports fans come to Manchester and I would expect hotels in town to offer the sports package
