I believe that people are very quick to complain if something does not match their expectations, but do not bother when things do. We have just had a weekend staying at the Arora Hotel Manchester to celebrate my husbands birthday. The whole weekend was fantastic, as my husband is originally from there but has not been back for many years. Our stay at at this hotel just made the weekend even more enjoyable. On arriving, we were greeted with a very warm friendly welcome and this continued throughout our stay. We were acknowledged every time we arrived back or left the hotel by every member of staff present. The room was lovely and clean and I cannot find the smallest fault. We were given a free upgrade to one of their best rooms. We will not have any problems considering where to stay when we return to Manchester again, it will be the Arora Hotel every time. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you Arora, you made my husbands birthday EXTRA special.

Just returned from a 2-night stay at the Arora Hotel Manchester with friends & their children, our check-in was seamless and reception team were friendly and welcoming. The rooms are large with 2 double beds, a seating area & lovely bathroom. Breakfast is plentiful and the staff could not do enough for you. The hotel is conveniently located to St. Peter's Walk Tram station and within walking distance (5-8 minutes) of the main shopping areas.

Bar 24 does not allow children in after certain times and we were told by staff we had to leave. As we had been there earlier in the day another more senior member of staff approached us and offered us seating in the restaurant, which suited us perfectly.

Eating out was also difficult with children as not many places allowed children in, one place said children were not allowed in after 4 pm - which we found to be quite ridiculous!

Overall I would recommend a stay at the Arora and I will definitely be returning, but maybe without children next time :-)

We enjoyed our 2nd New Years eve at the Arora Hotel in Manchester and could not fault it at all. For £199 for the two of us, we got a 5 course meal which came with a complimentary Bellini Cocktail and it was all ecellent. We stayed in the hotel for the night and the room was almost a suite it was that big. Large comfy bed, sofa and TV, we could have had our own party in there if we had so wished. The fridge was unstocked but the notice said this was so you could bring your own drinks in or have them stock it if you wanted. I found this heartwarming as most hotels want you to stay in their bar and spend all your money with them all night.

We enjoyed our meal and headed to the bar in 24, which is their bar, where there was a DJ and 2 cocktails for £10 for hotel residents. It was good fun and all the bar staff enjoyed themselves and made everyone welcome.

We would do it again this year but have a lot of family commitments this time but will definitely be going again.

Room Tip: No Swimming Pool or Spa but hey its a gem in the crown of Manchester Social Life

Couldn't be handier to manchester city centre, just down a main road so you hardly even need directions! I work as a hotel housekeeper and I have to say It's the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in!! Very modern rooms, great safe parking round the corner including a discounted price for guests, easy to find, very tasty full English breakfast buffet, lots of restaurant and food places nearby and just next to china town (but not affected by it which was good).
Not one fault and would highly recommend everyone to stay there, we have already booked our next stay there and are looking forward to it :)

Stayed New Years Eve on a special deal which included dinner, bed and breakfast.
Excellent communication from the guys before our visit!
Reception staff - great, very fast check in and out. In fact EVERYONE who worked at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. Room 511 really nice lots of room, great shower & bath, extremely comfortable bed, great TV, fridge, safe...
Went to dinner at 24. I can honestly say that the lamb which was part of the new years eve dinner was the best food that I have ever had! Everything else was also great but the lamb was outstanding! The bar was also very comfortable and Alan the barman was great fun & gave the history of each drink! very knowledgeable guy.
I cannot understand why there are comments on this hotel that are not great as it was our first visit and I could not wait to write this review!
Many many thanks to EVERYONE at the hotel you were fantastic! Thank you x

Room Tip: Fifth floor very quiet - great views.

Visited Manchester in May with a group of girlfriends as one of them was celebrating their 40th birthday. The hotel was fabulous and although check in was quite lengthy (no fault of their's, a change had been made to our booking) the stay was brilliant. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bathroom was roomy with a great mirror for applying makeup!! We had 3 rooms and we were in the corner at the end of a corridor which was wonderful and private so we propped all of our doors open and wondered in and out of each others rooms. The hotel has a bar which is just fabulous and has 2 for 1 cocktails......we discovered the best Porn Star Martinis prepared by a very attentive and friendly barman. We spent our first evening in the hotel bar after travelling and then finished in there on our second night after eating out. It is a bit of a walk from the train station but not too far. Great weekend location. Would definitely stay again with friends or as a couple
