Everything was as good as could be expected from a four star hotel. And although it was a short stay, a longer stay would have been most welcome.

The hotel is modern looking, very clean and spacious. We had a double room which had 2 double beds and a seating area, the bathroom was huge too, ideal because there were 3 girls sharing a room and we didn’t feel cramped once!

The location of the hotel is perfect, it is very central and within walking distance to the bars, restaurants and shops.

The hotel staff are very friendly, cheerful and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.

I would recommend the cocktails in the hotel bar Obsidian, we were a Hen Party of 15 and did the Cocktail Class with Tom and Kamil, it started with a history of cocktails, we were split into 2 groups and Tom & Kamil took one group each, they would explain each cocktail they made and then two from each group would then get to make the cocktail, 4 or 5 cocktails later we had all got our chance to make a cocktail, it was brilliant fun! Another good sign of the bar is that it is not just hotel residents that use it but it was never too busy that you could not get to the bar either!

We also had dinner in the restaurant one evening and breakfast each morning, the food was delicious, the choice at the buffet breakfast was vast and yummy, and if it was not there on the buffet a quick request would have it in front of you promptly.

I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel for anyone who wants to be central, enjoy good quality service, comfy beds, yummy food and drink for a great price! I will certainly be using this hotel when I return to Manchester!

This was my first time at this hotel, my partner has stayed there before and booked this as a suprise. I was impressed with the hotels plush decor and comfortable "king size" beds, (welcome after a night on the town!) The reception staff were very friendly and informative. The Hotel is within walking distance to the city cente, pubs, restaurants and sight seeing. I will definitely be returning to this hotel and i have already reccommended it to several friends. Although there is no direct parking, the hotel offers a reduced rate at the secure parking lot situated within a 5 minute walk. Ste and Ange

There is nothing bad I can say about the Arora Hotel in Manchester. The staff are very approachable and friendly and give that extra bit to assist guests in any way they can. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the food is delicious. Have already booked a return trip!

Stayed on a Saturday night on a Travelzoo offer, £69 a room, free upgrade and £10 bar voucher! Very attentive check-in staff, asked if we were staying out late as there was a wedding do on and they didn't want us to be disturbed by noise. Nice to ask, rather than just dump guests. Didn't eat there so cannot comment o food. Very comfy quiet room. At checkout, they offered a discount and pre-payment on the long stay car park next door. Very efficient. Total recommendation.

my partner and i stayed overnight in this hotel and wanted something central to shops, chinatown and within easy walking distance of somewhere for a drink at night.

the arora was perfect - lovely decor, very pleasant staff and lovely breakfast on our departure. we booked on a special deal through travelzoo which allowed us an upgrade to a king size room. this was on the front of the hotel and although straight onto a busy street we did not hear any traffic noise or revellers at all.

recommended highly and we would definitely book again.
