We stayed for just one night so we could go to the Coronation Street Tour. Got the free no 2 bus there in no time at all. Beware on returning as we ended in the bus station with a very long walk back to the hotel. The bus stops weren't well marked out although they were tempary when we were there. The bus driver quite literally told us to get off, then disappeared. There was no offer of how to get another bus so we walked!! The hotel was good and we would go again but there were people being noisy in the corridors at night. The staff had told us on arrival to let them know if there were any problems but as soon as we had realised we had been woken, whoever it was had then gone. We don't blame the hotel for this, we feel this is beyond their control. The room had a very noisy bathroom can which we reported so, hopefully it won't bother the next guests. Food was good, would recommend the meal deal as without the breakfast is overpriced in our opinion.

Dear Mrs S H,

Thank you for your review and feedback.

I am sorry to hear you struggled with the local bus service. I will contact the operator with this as these buses are meant to run around the city and you can jump on and off when you like. I do understand there have been recent road closures due to work in the Deansgate area with the metro system however the bus driver should have better explained this to you.

We are constantly working around internal noise from other guests within the hotel. We now have notices in all guests areas requesting quiet time to be in place after 10.30pm, we also look to allocate well keeping families together and our party guests separate to try to ensure noise does not become an issue. At peek times this is difficult however our reception is manned 24 hours a day and we do have security to try to limit noise as much as possible.

When you stay again please speak with a member of our reception team and we will look to give you a room as quiet as possible.

Our breakfasts are 'all you can eat' and we have worked hard to ensure our prices are extremely competitive with breakfast items of great quality and lots of choice. Also the Costa coffee is free during breakfast service for you to have as much as you like.

Thank you for your feedback and I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us.

Kind Regards.

I was in Manchester for a training course and I wanted a hotel walking distance to the course. Unfortunately due to a certain Robbie Williams playing in town on the first night, city centre hotels were booked up.

I therefore went for this hotel as the next nearest to the centre.

Saying this, it is only a short walk into town and also only a few minutes to Deansgate Station where you can get the metro, train or free city centre bus.

Location is not pretty, with a major road right by the hotel and opposite is a large unfinished building that is covered in grafitti. There are no local facilities so you are reliant on the hotel for your needs.

But do not panic, the hotel does provide these more than adequately. Restuarant and bar are reasonable and the food tasty and good value. I originally booked B&B only but decided each night to eat in the restaurant and upgraded to the meal deal.

Overall the hotel was perfect for my needs and staff although young were all very friendly and looked like they enjoyed working there.

Dear Sean H,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your review and feedback.

I am very pleased to hear we more than met your expectations in offering all you could require for a great night sleep and a good meal and breakfast.

When you stay again please speak with a member of our reception team who are always on hand to offer local transport information and can book inexpensive taxis with our trusted company.

With regards to the building across from us there are plans for this next year and we believe it will be an apartment block; so not only will it look better it will also assist in sheltering our hotel from traffic noise. There is much regeneration around the Deansgate area and this will bring more facilities to our guests with the opening of shops across the road.

Our teams are very motivated and positively engaged around great guest care and I am proud to see from your feedback you found them attentive.

Again thank you for your review and we do hope to welcome you back to Deansgate in the future.

Kind Regards

Booking this hotel for a two-night stay proved a good decision.

All staff were very friendly and interested in their customers. The welcome was warm and came with a smile.

Whilst the room was basic, it was well kept and had a comfortable bed. The trial period of free Wifi was welcome. Breakfast was available for £9.00 - with a wide range of foods available at an inclusive price.

Everywhere central was within walking distance and good night life could be found just down the road.

Myself & my fiance just arrived back from manchester today after a two day break. Our intention for the stay was alton towers but chose to stay in manchester instead of stoke on trent as there is more to do! We got to the hotel at around 10am after a 3 hour train journey. Unfortunately we could not check in until 2pm so we headed to the trafford centre for some shopping. The staff were more than helpful letting us leave our bags until our room was ready. We got back around 5pm to be greeted by a different girl, very lovely, asked us if we'd stayed in deansgate before we said no & she was so welcoming telling us about breakfast, evening meals, the comfortable sleep guarantee etc! We headed to our room (305) and it was lovely. we've stayed in premier inns before so it was basically identical to the previous one we stayed at in caerphilly. Very spacious bedrooms, amazingly comfy beds, lovely bathroom, freeview tv and even free wifi! We spent the whole day at alton towers yesterday & didnt get back until around 8pm so just ate in the adjoining restaurant, we weren't expecting a lot but the food and service were second to none, one of the best steaks ive ever had! id had chips twice yesterday & didnt fancy them again and they were more than willing to swap my chips for boiled potatoes. We done the £22.99 deal and got breakfast this morning to set us up for our journey home & breakfast was also very nice, fry up yoghurts cereal toast fruit & juices, everything you need! The lady on reception this morning with short dark hair was very polite, she said good morning & enjoy your breakfast, then she rang us a taxi when we were leaving for the train station & wished us a safe journey home. All of the staff at this hotel were nothing but welcoming & polite, if i ever return to manchester i know where ill be staying! keep up the good work guys!

Overall the hotel had good service, good breakfast and the rooms appeared very clean. The hotel offers easy access to the centre of Manchester and has a large car park. BUT I came away covered in bites which I can only think are bed bugs which is very disappointing and unacceptable.
