A superb location for a superb price! Had a great time in Manchester. Staff were very friendly and professional and included the child in our party when discussing check in. Parking can be busy though!

Myself and nine other friends stayed here for one night on my stag do and found all staff that we met were great, really friendly, helpful and welcoming, that was until we went into the hotel bar!!

Being ten guys of varying ages between 21-52 there was a mix of characters and upon ordering our first drinks the two of the budweisers ordered were flat and lacking any head, in the absence of Chris the bar tender a friend of mine had reached around and added a little head to his drink, which Is the exact moment the bar man returned! Although I know on my friends part, that this is not proper bar etiquette, my friend was trying to save the bar tender any hassle or criticism for pulling a poor pint! Upon the bar tenders return he was very rude, abrupt and unprofessional towards my friend, we are not easily offended but the bar tenders reaction was not that of a customer based, front of house professional! He dealt with the situation by refusing to serve us any of us any more drinks losing the bar approx £100 in drinks that we would have purchased! Had Chris dealt with this in a better manner an with less attitude this stay would have been perfect!

Best thing about the stay was definitely Coumba on the front reception, very friendly welcoming and great sense of humour, definitely a diamond in premier inns crown!

We have just got back from a weekend in Manchester, went purely for the Corrie Tour. This Premier Inn is exactly what previous reviews state i.e. Short walk to City Centre, No noise to affect your sleep, restaurant has lovely food and the staff were very friendly. The bed was huge but very very comfortable and an added bonus was free wi-fi all day - so easy to use up 30 minutes without realising if you are in a strange place researching touristy bits (plus whilst we stayed Wimbledon was on so an update of the results was a must!!) Something which not many have commented on is the free "Metroshuttle" bus which stops right outside and is a free bus service (one of three) which goes around the main city centre bits, bus/train stations, shopping centre etc so you can hop on and off as much as you desire - Look up Metroshuttle Manchester on Google for more info. Glad we stayed here and would have no hesitation recommending this.

We stayed for just one night so we could go to the Coronation Street Tour. Got the free no 2 bus there in no time at all. Beware on returning as we ended in the bus station with a very long walk back to the hotel. The bus stops weren't well marked out although they were tempary when we were there. The bus driver quite literally told us to get off, then disappeared. There was no offer of how to get another bus so we walked!! The hotel was good and we would go again but there were people being noisy in the corridors at night. The staff had told us on arrival to let them know if there were any problems but as soon as we had realised we had been woken, whoever it was had then gone. We don't blame the hotel for this, we feel this is beyond their control. The room had a very noisy bathroom can which we reported so, hopefully it won't bother the next guests. Food was good, would recommend the meal deal as without the breakfast is overpriced in our opinion.

Dear Mrs S H,

Thank you for your review and feedback.

I am sorry to hear you struggled with the local bus service. I will contact the operator with this as these buses are meant to run around the city and you can jump on and off when you like. I do understand there have been recent road closures due to work in the Deansgate area with the metro system however the bus driver should have better explained this to you.

We are constantly working around internal noise from other guests within the hotel. We now have notices in all guests areas requesting quiet time to be in place after 10.30pm, we also look to allocate well keeping families together and our party guests separate to try to ensure noise does not become an issue. At peek times this is difficult however our reception is manned 24 hours a day and we do have security to try to limit noise as much as possible.

When you stay again please speak with a member of our reception team and we will look to give you a room as quiet as possible.

Our breakfasts are 'all you can eat' and we have worked hard to ensure our prices are extremely competitive with breakfast items of great quality and lots of choice. Also the Costa coffee is free during breakfast service for you to have as much as you like.

Thank you for your feedback and I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us.

Kind Regards.

I was in Manchester for a training course and I wanted a hotel walking distance to the course. Unfortunately due to a certain Robbie Williams playing in town on the first night, city centre hotels were booked up.

I therefore went for this hotel as the next nearest to the centre.

Saying this, it is only a short walk into town and also only a few minutes to Deansgate Station where you can get the metro, train or free city centre bus.

Location is not pretty, with a major road right by the hotel and opposite is a large unfinished building that is covered in grafitti. There are no local facilities so you are reliant on the hotel for your needs.

But do not panic, the hotel does provide these more than adequately. Restuarant and bar are reasonable and the food tasty and good value. I originally booked B&B only but decided each night to eat in the restaurant and upgraded to the meal deal.

Overall the hotel was perfect for my needs and staff although young were all very friendly and looked like they enjoyed working there.

Dear Sean H,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your review and feedback.

I am very pleased to hear we more than met your expectations in offering all you could require for a great night sleep and a good meal and breakfast.

When you stay again please speak with a member of our reception team who are always on hand to offer local transport information and can book inexpensive taxis with our trusted company.

With regards to the building across from us there are plans for this next year and we believe it will be an apartment block; so not only will it look better it will also assist in sheltering our hotel from traffic noise. There is much regeneration around the Deansgate area and this will bring more facilities to our guests with the opening of shops across the road.

Our teams are very motivated and positively engaged around great guest care and I am proud to see from your feedback you found them attentive.

Again thank you for your review and we do hope to welcome you back to Deansgate in the future.

Kind Regards

Booking this hotel for a two-night stay proved a good decision.

All staff were very friendly and interested in their customers. The welcome was warm and came with a smile.

Whilst the room was basic, it was well kept and had a comfortable bed. The trial period of free Wifi was welcome. Breakfast was available for £9.00 - with a wide range of foods available at an inclusive price.

Everywhere central was within walking distance and good night life could be found just down the road.
